I have always wondered the same thing. I can tell you when I see a ball in the water I can get I snag it. I have never really noticed much difference in the premium balls like pro v's

My grip is the one thing I have trouble with. I always to check to make sure that it is not weak when I am not hitting it well.

I actually got a couple of his videos that a friend let me borrow a while back. They were pretty good and straight to the point. I have not read his book so cannot really comment on the book.

I live in Georgia so we usually get some days that you can play golf but if we have a long cold snap I will practice my swing in the garage. I usually try to keep a club with a grip aid attached and do a slow motion swing so I do not break anything

I have not played with top flites in a while but I have heard that they have improved a lot. I will try to check them out when I run out of my current stash of balls.

Ok, somebody has a complex, when I said not good I was not comparing them to me or anybody who is not on tour. I was comparing them to the top of the leaders on the PGA tour and also it is a year to year. Somebody who is stinking it up this year could come back next year and be in the top 10. Have a beer and relax.

If you can afford it I would get a set fitted. You can pretty much get any clubs fitted these days and it is well worth the money. I personally use Mizunos x23 that I bought a couple of years ago and regardless how bad I am playing I would not get rid of them. It really comes down to personal preference, some people love hybrids and some people can not stand them. I always had a hard time hitting a 3 iron and I got a hybrid to replace it and I struggled with the hybrid as well. But I love my 18 degree hybrid that I use between the 3 wood and my irons. If money is an issue than get a nice set of used clubs. You can usually find some by going to ebay, craigslist, or places like that on the net. If you want to buy them locally make sure you get a 30 day trade in policy so that if you buy something and get out on the golf course and find out that the clubs do not fit your game you can trade them in for a credit towards a new set.

I would also consider the social aspect of the club. If you just want to play golf that that really should not matter but I was a member at a club and their was not a whole lot going on socially. I really depends on what you want out of a golf club. My personal opinion is that if you are paying the money you should expect special perks. Some people will disagree with me and some will not.

I will have to give that a shot, my putting has been terrible lately.

Golf is the ultimate independent contractor sport. If you are good you make a lot of money if you are not you struggle. Not like a lot of sports were you get paid off potential and what you did last year.

I predict the Hawks will suck again.

18 holes in an hour is hauling!!! I would only be able to knock down a few beers in that amount of time.

I am not a big pats fan I really do not like Bill "Hoody" but my god they destroyed the Chargers and ripped that defense apart. To bad for me I have LT on my fantasy team.

I do not think Phil is even close and the sad part is that he is next best golfer besides Tiger. I do not know if Phil will ever accomplish what Tiger has. Lets be honest Tiger is the greates of all time.
