  1. 1. Tiger Woods -13 2. Rory McIlroy -11 3. Phil Mickelson -11
  2. That's odd, it was working yesterday.
  3. Are you sure the wavy lines near the ferrule are bag wear? I have the same driver and figured the wavy lines to be the pattern of the RIP shaft.
  4. I typically will only buy stuff from Craigslist at half retail and no higher. If you want more, Ebay is the way to go.
  5. Hmm..."Keep the right shoulder and right hip low." That seemed rather odd...he's espousing a flatter turn. I'm no expert by any means, but that seems misleading.
  6. During the Feherty interview, Bubba said he used to go to the golf course with his dad and would watch him and try and imitate. To echo what someone above me posted, children learn from imitation and trial and error.
  7. I was actually thinking about this too. I was surprised he landed it off the green and had it bounce up. At first I thought he'd missed his mark, but then it went in the hole. Who knows.
  8. I think Faldo was commenting earlier how he'd watched Bubba on the range hitting huge (intentional)hooks/fades with his wedges.
  9. What he said. Especially since Bubba knew Oost was just off the green. He had to stick it.
  10. My friend called me up right after Bubba's shot, I said, "shot of the tournament, right there.". He asked me, "what about the double eagle?". No contest, Bubba.
  11. Yup, that's exactly what happened, it 180'd. If I remember correctly, the putt broke hard right, she caught the edge, and it ended up on the left side near her. Here's a better video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OBbKY7FU48U
  12. Actually I think he meant to say the poster is probably starting with his shoulders as the video does not say to do that.
  13. I've been glove free for about 8 months now. Can't say I miss it.
  14. I don't understand what you're trying to say. I've tried to stay objective, tried to read all of your posts, heck, even tried to view your videos...but the only thing I get from all of it, is some sort of sales pitch(not saying you are actually selling something, but that's what the entire things comes off as)? I also found that you've started this exact thread on at least three different boards, which seems odd to me. Couple that with you posting under aliases to start other threads and it all just seems..disingenuous.
  15. ? Still works for me.
  16. I'd say that being that far down definitely played into his decision to withdraw, why wouldn't it? I also don't believe it's unsportsmanlike at all. See the bold part below. He didn't quit just because he was behind, there were extenuating circumstances, ie. further injury, ability to play in the masters, etc.. Why did Bobby Jones quit in the middle of his first Open Championship? According to Wikipedia Quote: Jones had a unique relationship with the town of St Andrews , Scotland. On his first appearance on the Old Course in The Open Championship of 1921, he withdrew after 11 holes in the third round, when he failed to complete the hole (in effect disqualifying himself), and tore up his scorecard, although he finished the round and indeed played the fourth round as well. He firmly stated his dislike for The Old Course According to this (this is Wikipedia so not stating it's fact) he didn't actually quit. He finished the round and played the fourth as well. What does this have to do with Tiger's wd? Absolutely nothing I'd say. Tiger was definitely hurt, in the past he may have played through it, but that may also be the reason Tiger is now at the point that he is. I'll give Tiger the benefit of the doubt and say that if he believed it was better for him to stop before further injury, than he knows better than I. Quote: Originally Posted by k-troop I've thought about this a lot. I don't see how you can look at the WD without seeing that "I couldn't win" factored into his decision to quit. I also can't believe that is okay, given what our sport is about. Bobby Jones quit in the middle of his first Open Championship. Most folks agree that was a (if not THE) low point in his career. Golfers and Sportsmen don't quit in the middle of a round just because they can't win. I'm willing to reconsider this conclusion, but I'll need to be convinced.
  17. Week 6 now. Yoga has become one of my fav workouts of the week. Plyo still kicks my butt every week, but hey, it's definitely working. The first 3 weeks I did cardio in the morning 5 days a week on top of p90x in the afternoon. For this second phase I toned back to 3-4 days of cardio with p90x in the afternoon. Workout I hate the most? Legs and back. After a long week of plyo, cardio, etc, legs feel like mush by the end of the workout. Then again, I'm seeing huge strength and stamina gains in my legs.
  18. Ah nice! Where did you find it?
  19. Glad it helped! Most of the putter manufacturers have something similar on their sites if you want to shop around.
  20. Give this a try: http://www.odysseygolf.com/global/en-us/fitting/putter-fitting-system.html
  21. Thanks! Just received it last night. Looking forward to working with it tonight.
  22. I just had to go through this myself. I'd purchased one of the TourTrek carts from Golfsmith about a year ago. Last Saturday was making the turn and the rear tension cable snapped and the cart collapsed. It didn't surprise me too much since I'd noticed the cable had begun to wear, but man, was hoping the cart would make it at least a year. Guess that's what I get for spending $80 on it. Anyways, after digging and digging, decided on the Clicgear. Love the accessories, the one year warranty is good, and there are tons of replacement parts available from Clicgear if something does break. I love that the drink holder goes on the side of the cart as apposed to the center console. That was a pet peeve of mine with the old cart. My bag always sat right in front of that slot, so couldn't really use it for anything. I also wanted a cart that included an umbrella holder. Playing in 100 degree weather with no umbrella sucks.
  23. Ordered one just now. What they hey, it's not much and something I struggle with. Looking forward to trying it out. I didn't see any place to note that I was a Sand Trap member.
  24. Typically: Ball Position Forward =Promotes Fade Ball Position Back = Promotes Draw If your ball position is forward, depending on how far forward, your path will generally be more out to in. In other words, If your face is closed to the target but still open to the path, you'll end up with a pull fade. If your face is closed to the target and closed to the path, you'll end up with a pull draw. Do a search for "ball flight laws" on this forum. It should tell you everything you need to know.
