  2. I usually have twenty. Balls suffering cart path damage get replaced immediately. I played Thursday and lost one in the middle of the fairway.
  3. I play every day (walking), sometimes 36 holes. I'd like to play 36 every day, but I start to wear down after four or five consecutive 36 hole days.
  4. I play with a group that has permanent tee times Monday-Friday. Weekends, I'll call or make a tee time while I'm in the pro shop. If I'm playing at a different course, someone else makes the tee time.
  5. 38-38 on a course I'd never cracked 40 before. The end of this golf year has been good!
  6. The two muni's in my city both are listed on GolfNow, but show the "mulligan" when you click on them. The dropped GolfNow because it wanted too many of their tee times. I suspect many of the courses showing the "mulligan" designation have done the same thing. Last year I saw occasions where you could get 18 holes & cart for less than $9. Prices that low might have caused them to switch services.
  7. Purchased an X Hot three wood.
  8. Yesterday I shot 37-38=75. My best ever nine/total. The back nine included two doubles
  9. Yesterday I shot 37-38=75. My best ever nine/total. The back nine included two doubles
  10. I carry a spray bottle of water in the cup holder on my push cart. Spray the club & wipe, good to go.
  11. I use the Frogger tees for irons & hybrids. I lose more than I break.
  12. I shot 39-42=81. On the front, I had three consecutive birdies. Four double bogeys helped push my round into the eighties.
  13. Set up is in my signature. I've played TM and Cobra hybrids, but I hit the Integra I Drive hybrids much better.
  14. I use a push cart, my shoulder would be shot after a couple of holes if I carried.
  15. I enjoy walking the course. No need for my elliptical workout during the golf season. I think a cart costs $10, so I've saved close to $1800 this year. That has purchased new clubs, a bag, and a push cart. If they offered me a free cart, I'd still walk.
  16. Both the NXT and Velocity are longer than my previous balls. I have noticed that they both scuff easier than the Callaway and Slazanger balls I used to play.
  17. If I need to make a hard 90 degree turn, I just push down on the handle and pivot on the back wheels. Much more stable than my old three wheeler. If my game required me to go in circles a lot, I might consider a model with a swiveling front wheel.
  18. I wear Nike hats (shirts too) but have Callaway, TM, and Cleveland clubs.
  19. Today I shot 89. That's a 50 on the front and a 39 (bogey on 18) on the back. I think I have golfing multiple personalities, and they can't decide who gets to play any given day.
  20. Bag Boy Quad. Used it over 160 rounds this year. Easy to set up, and a small footprint when folded (important with a Civic). I have a Revolution LE bag, and it locks in tight on the cart. Never gets loose after a few holes.
  21. My home course (68.9/121) has been pretty busy the last two months. I usually play by myself (walking) and take 2.5-3 hours. I guess four hour rounds are becoming the norm for most foursomes. I think there is a fine line between fast play, and taking all the enjoyment out of a round.
  22. I've read comments saying a certain balls are "hot off the putter". I know the ball can affect drives and backspin, but putting?
  23. On a level fairway, 240 yards is a monster drive for me. After two shots, I'm still a wedge away.
  24. I think it might be easier to hunt for balls during a few rounds.
  25. I had a Ping one iron cut down to nine iron length. Comes in handy when I need to hit a low shot under trees. Even use it around the green when the grass is too long for my putter.
