Usually play a game called "I Win" for $20 a hole. $360 in 4hrs isn't too bad.

Iron shots are coming together finally, now I'd just like to get a handful of rounds back in the 80's, MAYBE.. just MAYBE, crack sub-80 once this season.

my point exactly. it really doesn't slow up the round at all. usually slow when the player is hackin his ball left and right and then taking a few putts each hole. i see where everybody is coming from though.

Easily.. it doesn't mean your just chunking your ball and walking 50yds for your next shot... it could mean maybe on average you're taking an extra putt on a hole, or having to take an extra wedge shot from around the green.

i know some girls who can hook you up with some blue balls

Thinking about the shots that I take when I golf.. I honestly think that I prefer taking iron shots (especially short irons) out of the rough. Anybody else feel this way? Might be because when I throw a divot in the rough, there isn't as much resistance from the ground as there is on the fairway.

my shot of the week was actually hitting a green on a par 3 today with my 6 iron :) finally hit it straight, and finally got the par 3 GIR.

+19 after 16 holes today... then had to leave for a track&field; clinic. for the most part, everything was fine today... had a couple penalty strokes, but my putting was terrible. first hole (par 3) i get on in 2... then 4 putt! also had 3 other 3 putts and only 1 single putt. front nine i was basically just trying to figure out my sand wedge, haven't been able to hit a regular shot with it so i was hoping to fine tune that a little. distances are off a bit for me, but i'm confident in taking the shot now instead of pitching a PW.

i always hit the provisional if i'm a tiny bit weary about my first ball's landing. i'll then hit the provisional's second shot ASAP and look for my other ball (in case i can't find it, then my 2nd shot is already taken and nobody is being held up)

Teeing off on a par 3 last weekend... using an 8iron. Carts are parked about 10yds in front of the teebox off to the right and my friend's sister (extremely hot) is sitting in one of the carts. I completely shanked my tee shot and it bee-lined RIGHT AT HER! Missed her by about a foot and left a nasty ball mark in the cart's back support on the seat lol

mine was a brand new Nike OnePlatinum

i overshot a group ahead of me this weekend as well, it was a bomb of a drive... they weren't mad, they were impressed ha.

Last Saturday I was playing at a long municipal course and i slightly pulled a tee shot on a long par4 and it landed between the trees that separated the hole from the one next to it... There's a group by the spot where my ball landed and my ball is nowhere to be found when I approach and they leave to their balls up ahead. Lame. I hope somebody forgets to yell "Fore!" at you.

2003 Hyundai Sonata (dark grey) came with 47,000 miles. gets a solid 23mpg city (by my calculations). $8,000 but with financing and stuff i'm paying like $11k.

proV1x's don't spin as much as the regulars. i've started playing these balls (both types) b/c i find them at work, and i love them. along with the NXT Tours (great as well)

90 on a par71. scores are hopefully dropping to what they were last month.

It just depends on your drive accuracy and the type of holes your playing on. If you're not that accurate with a driver and have a narrower shot to take, don't take the risk and use a wood or long iron. I'm a relatively high handicapper (19) in my book, my accuracy is pretty well with my driver. To each his own for this situation.

cobra f-speed... had to get rid of it because of the noise. annoying. great distance, very inaccurate however.

2-putt comfort zone... if my ball is on the green outside of 6-8ft then it's a reasonable two-putt, but i still go for gold on any putt. my last two rounds i've had 3 triples and 8 singles.

94 today.. not too bad considering i've been in a major slump lately with my irons... still pretty sketchy with them today, but saved myself with the chip/putt game. 35 putts today.. 2 1-putts. hit 7 fairways missing 4 more by about 5yds or less. 3 GIRs, all of which were 2 putted. missed a 45ft birdie putt by about 3". basically figured out that rather than lining up my ball towards the line i wanna putt at, stepping to the ball and lining up my feet works MUCH better. negatives from today: sketchy iron shots (catching them way too fat, pulling my hybrids a lot. other than that i'm completely satisfied with a 94 today heh.
