1. Pete....is that you? Any hard facts to back this up? I'm sure one company's just gonna stand by and let somebody paint over their name. A head cover is one thing, but what you're sayin' sounds like a total embellishment.. What good is a fitting to a 25 capper with a non repeatable swing. Start with lessons, then go from there I say. I'm not against fitting for fine tuning something that is somewhat tuned in.
2.
Sounds over priced, but then that's me. I would not hesitate to reshaft those myself even though I've never done a set of Cally bore through.
3. Sounds over priced, but then that's me. I would not hesitate to reshaft those myself even though I've never done a set of Cally bore through.
4. If I'm not badly mistaken there were 2 versions of those, one bore through and one not. No questioning one from the other, the non had no shaft to be seen on the sole. Heat one up and pull it to find out. That doesn't sound like great news to me, sounds like a RIP. JMHO.
5. Is PING willing to replace it?
6. I'd contact PING and see what they say anyway. If the NV65 worked, why not stick with what you know. Also a stiffer/heavier shaft will bring the trajectory down more than what you have listed.
7. Sorry for the late reply. You may want to read this from Jeff Summit of Hireko Golf. Also this from Golfworks. I myself have never reshafted any Callaway irons. http://blog.hirekogolf.com/2009/08/how-to-re-shaft-callaway-irons/ http://www.golfworks.com/article.asp?ai=36 Hope this helps. -Landon
8. They don't feel any different than any other irons when struck on the sweet spot.

10. Show me a driver head not made in China these days. They are not poorly made, but he may have got a bad one. Contact Steve Almo @ GeeKGolf.com. He warranties his heads for life for the original owner and may do something for him even if he isn't the original owner. He is also a friend of mine and has excellent equipment. His DotComThis is my personal favorite.
11. Just sent you a PM with info. Thanks!
12. Really? That's mighty generous! I'd certainly be interested if you still have it. I've got a couple shafts just itchin' to be swung! :-)

14. LOL! WAAAAAAAY Overkill!
15. What kind of shape is it in? I'd be interested in it. Or I've got a couple shafts I'd sell you for it for a good price. 1 steel True Temper XL Lite and 1 Aldila VS Proto 70s.
16. Residual bend. Go with FLO.
17. PS- the word is "SPINE" not "spline". Just sayin'.
18. Take a piece of rubber band. Wrap it long ways down one side, up the other around the tip and shove the head on. It's easy on, easy off and will hold the head in place when Flo-ing. Spine finder does not necessarily find spines, but NBP (Nuetral/Natural bend point). I usually align the NBP to target. The spine finder also will find residual bend if there's any. It's all about consistancy. I still haven't found any significance in performance no matter how the shafts are aligned.
19. Has nothing to do with "custom". There is no such thing as a tapered tip .335 wood shaft. It's either .350 PARALLEL or .335 PARALLEL and unless I'm mistaken, HOF doesn't make one in .350.
20. WTF are you talking about??? What's hard to work with? No, I did not read through this.
21. Submerge it in water and let it sit. Look for bubbles. Take it out and see if there's water in it. If it performs then don't worry about it. Just because it may be cracked doesn't mean it won't work.
22. They are forged, not cast and if she bought them off the rack there is no "build sheet". The serial number isn't a tell either. Ask for a receipt or proof of purchase.
23. I didn't read through this, but 1st..... Lihu, there is no such thing as .335t. It is .335P. Do it yourself next time. Quit letting amateurs f*ck with your clubs. Is it an adapter or is it shimmed? Buy some Golfworks beaded epoxy and get on with it!
24. 1st the .335 is parallel not tapered. 2nd, it's there for a hosel weight to achieve a target swing weight.
