good thing this thread did not have the same response as 'fuzzy headcovers' thread hehe I think Yoga can be beneficial to any sport. For me it helps with flexibility and working out 'stabilizer' and other muscle groups that are harder to work out in the gym with weights. The other plus is relaxation - when I was in college our squash coach would make us finish up training with a yoga DVD where the semi-meditation chapter at the end would put us all to sleep...

lot's of dweeb hating here =p Just curious, how many of the non-dweebers have actually tried a pair of covers before dismissing them? Even if you do not see the merit or need, others may have their reasons...

Thanks for sharing this. I am not sure what you mean by North Korea just opening their borders to tourism - there have been tours (very controlled) for a while (since 2000?), but they did stop them because a tourist got shot to death a few years back (she ran into a restricted area and a soldier shot her in the back). I guess the borders are re-opened since North Korea wants to seem like a peaceful nation and suck up to the UN while silently conducting nuclear tests and other illegal activities. But yes, President's Cup in S. Korea will be great - we have some beautiful courses!

B-U-T FULL!! is that an e30? My friend is thinking of getting an e30 M3 and stripping it (although it is already feather light). Cars from the 80's rock (over engineered and lower safety standards to adhere to =P) Ferdinand Porsche is a genius. My favorite car brand in all of automobile history. I'll post some pics of my e39 soon. Gotta grab my camera from the car...

All great quotes. Haven't watched in a while, but when I watch I can't stop... There is also the Conan skit where they hold "Seinfeld auditions." Is it a corn or is it a nut? I found it on youtube. Pretty hilarious http://youtube.com/watch?v=a84yrCdQ0PQ NEXT!!!!! She's in the shop getting: Tubi Rumore, PSS9's, Rogue SSKw/WSR, beefed up suspension, MB Quarts speakers, Stoptech BBK etc. Can't wait! And then I need to mend up the backside which was hit by a truck hit and run (know who did it but have no proof - long story) Candybar heiress! Best ending ever.

I'll start with a one related to golf: Kramer :Right now there are six-hundred s that I got at the driving range in the trunk of my car. Why don't we drive out to Rock-a-Way and hit them into the ocean! Now picture this....we find a nice sweet spot between the dunes, we take out our drivers, we tee up and (he makes a golf stroke), that ball goes sailing up into the sky holds there for a moment and then............ gulp!

I have not yet had the lucky opportunity to play more than 27 holes in one day. And that is mixed with cart. My father says he and his buddies used to wake up at the crack of dawn and start the day at 5am and WALK 54 holes. I would also like to try this as well, but sounds pretty hardcore. After that they would have a meal and play poker till they passed out...

Welcome to the club. To you I prescribe a lifetime's worth of golf as a cure!

Not too long ago a 17 year old won the long driving contest in Korea at 4xx yards. He is over 6'3" and has a full body swing. I am sure if you have the physique such a thing is possible. I am 5'9" and can drive the ball up to 330 yards (not my average!!) without favorable conditions (just need no wind and flat fairway). The pros are just that - pros. Their career is golf and they know what to do with their body, ball and club. Sum of the parts must add up.

http://online.wsj.com/article/SB1181...s_Golf_Journal how some celebrities kicked their drug habits, the science of golf addiction and how golf addiction differs from a gambling addiction It seems that getting addicted to golf helped some people break some nasty habits. Better addicted to golf than to crack!

That pretty much sums up how I feel. I like to walk as much as possible without slowing the team down. I can usually drive it further than most of the people I hit it with, so I just estimate my remaining yardage and start walking down the hole with 2 or 3 clubs in my hand.
-
I use the ProV1x when I mostly have to get good yardage off my drive. Use the ProV1 when I have ample back green and I can hit the ball a little long and allow the ball to suck back, hopefully, towards the hole. (par 3's etc)

OMG that is gorgeous. Which engine /power output does it have? Heck, it doesn't matter. I love when people actually drive their cars and not store them up at home drying out the gaskets and turning them into rat dens. *GASP* GORGEOUS!

If you like the Azera, Hyundai is coming out with a luxury line (relatively speaking and also a copy of TOYOTA) called the Genesis. It's supposed to have a V8 with at least 300 horsies. I wouldn't call it the ultimate driving machine in any way, but I think it will make the same analogy as a comparo between the X5 and the Vera Cruz, which stated that as a driver's car the X5 is untouchable, but value and comfort wise the Vera Crux wasn't bad at all. Hyundai owns Kia and the is looking to segment its market: TOYOTA : Kia = Lexus : Hyundai. I am in no way a fan of Hyundai ( I thin they still have a bit of a ways to go and out of the 8 cars I have owned, only 1 has been a Hyundai) but they are looking to differentiate and upgrade from the compact/value car market - we will see this philosophies manifest itself in the next generation of cars.
