  1. I play Soaring Eagles like 30 times a year. You also should play Mark Twain in Elmira. Very tough Greens. I have played in Marathon, I think it was at the couse you mentioned. It was a couple years back.
  2. Who cares what a pro would do. The guy says he hits it beautifully off the ground. If it ain't broke don't fix it. Besides when you pick a spot on the tee box you are generally not picking a divot to place the ball in.

    Vijay Singh

I am willing to give him the benefit of the doubt but at some point age has to catch up with him. I know he has made some swing changes recently which also most likely have hurt his scores.

    Vijay Singh

Vij is having a hard time lately. He was easily a favorite to take home the fed ex cup trophy but now has not been able to put an under par round together. He has had like two under par rounds out of the last fifteen. What is wrong with Vijay? Is age finally catching up to him?
  5. Binghamton area, Conklin Players Club 15 minutes west of Binghamton, Hiawatha Links These are two excellent courses with reasonable rates. I play Conklin all the time, it has a great setup, even a little island green par 3. Hiawatha is a very nice links.
  6. Once I started playing muscle backs it made me really focus on making more solid contact. I feel my swing is more lazy with cavity backs cause I could get away with more. Now I can work the ball very well which was never an option with cavity backs.
  7. I would like to see Tiger win a major from other then first place in the final round.
  8. PUG easily my favorite
  9. You could say either one and it really doesn't matter. Fact is with the talent they possess they have both been letdowns. At least Scott won the Players Championship even though it was a cheap win. With a players I give the edge to Scott.
  10. No I meant the Big Easy, Ernie Els, and Vijay Singh times two.
  11. Els, Singh, els, singh
  12. You have to expect this sort of stuff on a golf website. The only place you could possibly find more bull is a fishing message board. Speaking of bull, some guy got paired with us the other day. I asked him before we started if he was solid. He said scratch. About 5 minutes later he had hit his first three tee shots snap hooked out of bounds. HE was like I never do this. I think this could have been get r done.
  13. By a mask. Just don't walk in with a handgun. Seriously though just go in and make sure you test everything. These guys are trying to sell product to people who are probably even worse then you.
  14. http://conklinplayers.com/ http://www.hiawathalinks.com/ these are two outstanding courses that I play often and a must play if ever in the Binghamton area.
  15. Wanna become a scratch golfer in 10 days? Call 1-800-golf-scratch for our 100 percent gaurantee you can become a scratch golfer or your money back. 16. I play the black cg1, same club as Vijay Singh. I actually find these clubs easier to handle then my previous cavity backs. I hit them just as long, have no issues with accuracy and can even shape them which I had no chance with the older cavity backs. My handicap is what it is primarily because of my short game. Anytime I have less then a club to the green I can struggle. Full shots are butter though even better then the Cb"s. I have found that I hit the ball a little longer with these clubs. I play a 9 iron from about 145 today and flew the green into the wind from that distance. It was like a 155 carry. I hit the 3 iron about 220 consistently with no wind and that is plenty of distance with that club. When you hit them right, boy it feels great.
  17. I hit driver the other day into a 50 mph wind and uphill about 100 feet 750 yards over a par 5 by 200 yards. I then hit wedge to the center of the green from 200 out.
  18. The only time I get pissed on a course is when someone fails to yell four and almost hit me. Other then that I dont get bent out of shape over distractions. Playing in the worst possible elements will only make you focus better.
  19. The Broncos. Sorry Bolt fan.
