I played guitar, 5 string bass, and drums. Until I had my motorcycle wreck in 2000...Now I don't play any instruments at all.

Welcome to this choice forum bro.

Totally, did you ever find the bug in the game where you just go straight up ice to the opposing goalie and pass instead of shoot? Straight through the five-hole every time. I won games like, 55 to 3 all the time.

Just stick a little skateboard tape on the face of your club, that should do the trick just fine..........it's not legal, but is sure is fun to hit a high flop shot on the practice green and bring a ball back 15 feet. People immediately freak out and ask you how you do it. It's a fun way to start up a conversation with people.

I used my dremel tool for really fine polishing before I sold my old set, it makes them look like brand new, removes every single scuff mark. It's good for getting in the nooks and crannies too.

Is anyone on here a Hockey Card Collector? Interested in any purchases or trades?

Kramer: The bus is outta control. So I grab him by the collar, I take him out of the seat, I get behind the wheel, and now I'm driving the bus. Jerry: Wow. George Costanza: You're Batman. Kramer: Yeah, yeah, I am Batman. Then the mugger, he comes to and he starts choking me. So I'm fighting him off with one hand and I kept driving the bus with the other, ya know. Then I managed to open up the door and I kicked him out the door, ya know, with my foot, ya know, at the next stop. Jerry: You kept making all the stops? Kramer: Well, people kept ringing the bell. -
What putter do you use? State your preference and why. I'm using a $10 Golfmate milled face putter right now, I'm about a 60/40 on the 2putt to 3 putt range. I really want to upgrade to a nicer putter, but I don't know what all is out there. I'm leaning towards the Odyssey White Hot 2-Ball putter, becasue I see a lot of people using those, and I like the way they feel. I also have a Ray Cook Custom, but it's an old putter, and sort-of an heirloom. I plan on buying on sale or on eBay, so anything I can find for less than $150 ina pro shop should be in my price range on eBay. Suggestions? Guidance?

OOps.....somebody already posted that. Sorry!

Which ball do you use? or prefer?
Rynofskie replied to Robiola the Monster's topic in Balls, Carts/Bags, Apparel, Gear, Etc.
I play whatever I have on hand, which is almost every ball ever made. I'm a pond diver, so I probably have at least one of almost every ball on the market. It's crazy. I have about 150 to 200 premium balls at home. And another 200 or so that are just average balls. Balls I use on a Regular basis: Titleist ProV1 and ProV1x, NXT's, DT-Solo's, HVC's, Nike MoJo's, Nike Juice 312, Nike One Black and Platinum, Nike Power Distance, etc... Callaway HX tour, HX Tour 56, Big Bertha, HX Hot, Warbird, etc... Pretty much any ball you can think of, I own or have hit at least one of them. Except for that one rare PING black ball. -
I'm all over this one........I played 9 holes at a local course last weekend, and it took almost 3 1/4 hours.......I was pretty steamed. They have signs posted everywhere saying "Please keep the reccomended pace of 2 hours per nine holes"......I almost threw the sign at this one group that must have been playing patty-cake or something.

Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum. I played golf in high school for about 3 years, and stopped playing after I had a motorcycle wreck that left me with a crushed left wrist. I had a closed reduction with an external fixator (if you don't know what that is, click here ) Anyhoo, that was in 2000, and I didn't play again until this summer. So, here's to getting back to my 15 handicap! Thanks,
-
My lowest round was an 82 at Trosper here in Oklahoma. I was about a 15 handicap at the time, so that was a good 5 strokes better than usual. I had a really sweet birdie on hole #2, it's a par 3, and I hit a perfect 7 iron off the tee and went about 5 yards long, miraculously I had some backspin on it and it came back short to give me a 3 foot birdie putt. I was just really good off the tee that day, not typical for me at all on the course. I only had two birdies, I just parred a lot more holes than usual, and I had one save out of a sand trap that was picture perfect to save par on a par 5

I disagree......I've been playing EA Sports NHL games since the 91-92 NHL Release. There has always been at least a couple of new features. I guess this may not be true for the Tiger Woods Golf series, but I know it is for the NHL series.

What was the hardest aspect of golf for you as a beginner? What did you have the most trouble with? I think this question applies to everyone except GITrDONE......
