  1. @Golfingdad A4 is looking good. Next time send in a little 80 yard 7 iron working on laying the club down with the "jumping" sensation. Keep it up!
  2. I'm thinking an Imperial Tour Visor with that shift at 5. :)
  3. Evolvr prices are less than many other online lessons, with up to 4 submissions a month.
  4. Jealous. :) Just started working out again and feeling out of shape! Got inspired last time I was in Cali. Just doing basic weight lifting with the occasional game of racquetball.
  5. Time to get a visor ;) Awesome!
  6. Sounds to me like you are comparing Fowler at 5.5ish to Constantine at 5... Apples to Oranges?
  7. Making BIG changes FAST!!! Great job.

  9. No doubt that hitting the ball far enough and in play is important, for some that may come easy, for others not. Allocate your practice time accordingly based upon that though. Strengthen your weaknesses type of thing.
  10. A TERRIBLE way to determine what you need to practice would be to simply see what clubs you hit the most on the golf course. For example lets say you hit a nice drive down a par 4 and you have 150 yards left. Next you hit which ever club and miss the green on the left side. From there you hit your approach shot to 12 feet and then 2 putt for bogey. What was the reason you walked away from that hole with a bogey? IMO it was both of your approach shots, 1. you missed the green in regulation from 150 yards, 2. your pitch shot to 12 feet was not close enough because you can't "expect" to make the vast majority of your 12 foot putts. You did hit your putter twice on this hole, proving that is not a good way to determine how to allocate your time to which ever club when practicing.
  11. Couldn't agree more cipher! Sometimes when working on 1 or 2 pieces, 3 or 4 will clean them self up. It's all about prioritizing properly and then associating what you're feeling with what you are trying to accomplish.
  12. Camilo cycles too much, needs to spend more time on the course.
  13. Dana just served some knowledge
  14. Give this drill a try. Practice VERY slow/small swings at first. Should help the inside takeaway and will also help impact.
  15. Here are a couple threads discussing somethings you may want to look for, although you may have already seen these. http://thesandtrap.com/t/54540/a-centered-pivot http://thesandtrap.com/t/54697/downswing-sequencing http://thesandtrap.com/t/53724/the-ps-positions-or-as-alignments-in-the-golf-swing Also, you can look at different alignments and different planes such as elbow plane, shaft plane, shoulder plane, etc etc, but as stated above nothing to live or die by. Always other variables. Now that you have a camera, I would highly recommend looking into evolvr so that you can receive personalized help.
  16. It's fairly difficult to simulate good impact with an impact bag and then carry that over to the golf ball. Certainly better than doing nothing though. I would recommend simply making divots further forward with out a ball. After you can do that several times add in a golf ball. This is also a good drill.
  17. I am a HUGE Hogan fan, but with that said I think the thought of "clearing hips" or "clearing the left side" for most people is probably bad advice. However, just like Erik posted above that could potentially be a good feeling.
