  1. Whenever you change something in the golf swing it is awkward and difficult. I always recommend REALLY slow swings or smalls swings or even both when working on something new. Again, making some assumptions because I don't have video, but high ball flight, short, and not much of a divot I would suggest the following with SMALL and SLOW swings until you get use to it. Hands forward, weight forward, divot after ball. Hope this helps...
  2. If it's going high and short, I would definitely recommend hands forward and weight forward at impact. Do you get a divot? Make sure you get a divot after the ball.
  3. Feel reverse roll from p1 to p2 or like the club face is always facing the ball
  4. Why can't you get a full back swing? Physical limitation? With limited information, I would recommend straightening your right leg to assist in a bigger back swing. I have a client who has Kyphosis and when we started he only had 57 degrees of shoulder turn at the top of his swing, we straightened his right leg and now he is consistently around 85 degrees and has seen more distance from it. Other then that, I would make sure you have your weight forward and weight forward at impact. If you could post a video I could probably give you better advice.
  5. Think about it like this, a vast majority of who teaches golf lessons are taught the wrong ball flight laws. So in turn, those teachers teach the wrong ball flight laws... wrong ball flight laws leads to misunderstandings in the swing and cause and effects...
  6. Be careful who your're getting help from...
  7. Agree with tristanhilton85 Check out this channel http://www.youtube.com/user/thegolfevolution?feature=watch Hope this helps...
  8. Snead is known for his squat, you can see it at 0:09
  9. Faldo's swing analysis are not only bad, but also inconsistent. One moment he will talk about shifting off the ball into his right side and then the next he is talking about how he likes Webb Simpson holding a club on the inside of his head to keep him "center". Also, it is very clear that he doesn't know ball flight laws. Sometimes when they do the konica minolta swing vision analysis it seems like the words just fall out of his mouth with not rhyme or reason.
  10. Stronger attachment and Rock has slight more rotation. Lots of slide can cause the club to travel more inside out. Also, without access to software at this moment, looking at Wi's swing and Rock's swing from p7 to p7.75 from dtl. Wi's looks slightly more out than Rock's. (measuring from shaft line at p7 to p7.75 ish...) Extremely slight If Mike or Erik could confirm or deny this with some line :) Thanks
  11. Club will be square to the plane. "Feel no roll". Emphasis on feel. Since the club is swung on an incline plane it "appears" that there is a roll. Here is a video that might help clear up the terminology. Hope this helps.
  12. "Insecurity comes from not understanding the concept." - Plato - “If at first an idea isn't absurd there is no hope for it.” - Albert Einstein - In my opinion, Stack and Tilt method isn't really a method. I see it as more of a series of commonalities of some of the best players in history which make up swing pattern.
  13. When you say hitting it perfectly and then next all over the place, can you be a little more specific? Without more information, the only thing I can really recommend is make sure your weight is forward and handle forward at impact.
  14. haha, no did not hit the Mirura 202's.
  15. Always good to see increase in distance. :)
  16. Wish I was at the PGA show this year... :( After putting the Rocketballz FW on the launch monitor I can safely say they are long. Here is a cool video with the pro tracer.
  17. I hit the 59's in Vegas a couple months ago and they were great. Honestly, all of the irons are great. Nothing like Mizuno forging.
  18. No problem, hope that helps.
  19. Your right foot is coming off the ground to soon. Try to let your right fold and then turn. Here are a couple videos. Notice Grants right foot at 11 seconds
  20. Utley uses 58 degree from everywhere...
  21. I definitely agree that course management is important. I would also agree that short game is OFTEN over looked. However, I don't see how hitting drives under 200 yards is a good for anyone. New golf courses are not getting shorter. Distance and curve control
  22. I shuffle my feet a little, then right before I take the club back I flex my knees. Once I get over the ball, I don't stand there long.
  23. I agree with everything James said above. You got to be careful who get information from because there is way more bad information out there then good information. I am guessing you are looking for someone in the SF area, I would recommend Paul Gorman. http://www.youtube.com/user/PGormanator Are you ever in L.A.? If you are on a tight budget, then I would definitely evolvr. http://evolvr.thegolfevolution.com/
