  2. Found one, all set now.
  3. Not familiar with the Titleist adapter, but have pulled TM, Callaway, Adams and Cobra adapters no problem. Some TM adapters have plastic ferrules that melt but are easily replaced, all the others have been metal making pulling easier. I use the screw that holds the head on (or a longer version if needed) and put it through a washer, I then use my shaft puller to pull the washer. Only use a heat gun for this and a good shaft puller. Before you start make sure your adapter is the size of your new shaft, if not, just purchase the correct one, ebay always has adapters.
  4. Still looking!
  5. Right handed with a GS95 reg flex steel shaft. Would need it sent via USPS to my military APO address (zip 96531). Thanks.
  6. Welcome to another kiwi!
  7. Dave Pelz's Short Game Bible. read it twice, it really does help. Read the reviews to get an idea of what's in the book. I have taken up cross handed for short chipping, works very well for me.
  8. Seems like every time I do a major cleaning I clean all the luck off! Last week scrubbed and waxed and then played like I never handled a club before.
  9. Finally got my handicap down to 18.4 (has been lower) and have been working on drawing the ball with my driver. Yesterday I decided to give the driver draw a go, I stuck with it and have never been in so much trouble. I had 2 good drives all day. Club championship qualifying round and shot a 102. I could not do anything right. Talk about a mental breakdown!
  10. Hey Moe, I hear ya! I'll go out for 4 or 5 holes after work sometimes and use my carry bag with a 3 wood, 5 hybrid, 7i, 9i and sw. Never in trouble and feels so stress free, need to bring that to my weekend competitions.

  12. In reply to someone coming up well short on a putt: Womans day is tomorrow!
  13. David, do you remember the brand on the tube?
  14. Might I suggest first purchasing "Dave Pelz's Short Game Bible" . I picked one up used on eBay for $5.00. This explains everything you want to know about wedges and how to know which ones to add to your bag. Super easy to read without a lot of tech stuff and very interesting as well. I really think there is something for everyone in this book. The last few chapters explain which wedges YOU need and why. This book really helped me understand what I was trying to accomplish around the greens. This book will help you make your own decisions based on your game (swing). Just my 2 cents!
  15. I have a Ogio Exodus cart bag that I bought a few years ago and it is great, everything still works fine (gotta love that ball pocket). My biggest complaint is the compartments, they look big but they really are tight. Not a big issue unless you have to start shoving your rain gear in there. Last year I moved to a Bennington QO-12. This thing is heavy and tall but it is no problem on my Clicgear 3. I refer to this bag as the "steamer trunk" of golf bags. This thing will hold everything and is easy to use. It also keeps the clubs separated so you don't get any chatter. I hurt my back a few months ago and found that I moved back to the Ogio as it was a lot lighter to push. Both bags are keepers! I also have a 15 year old Izzo carry bag that I still use every week to go to the range (I use to carry all the time). The zipper came apart several years ago but an easy fix. The legs still work fine but I did redesign the foot so it was easier to use.
  16. A few weeks ago I was on the bottom of a very steep 2 tiered green (45* across the slope), 50 feet from the hole, strong wind blowing and the greens were just aerated! Putted with my 19* hybrid and put it 2 feet from the hole. Don't think I could have held the line and distance with my putter. Made me laugh, one of my better putts this year!
  17. Have never had air escape from the putter head, what brand do you have? I swap out all my Super Strokes (3, Flatso, Jumbo) a few times a year on several different putters. Just use one wrap of masking tape and air it on and off easily.
  18. I love my Bennington QO-12. The only thing crazy about it is the size. This thing is the "steamer trunk" of golf bags!
  19. Had a bad day on the greens yesterday, coming back from a very bad back injury so I am just trying to groove my swing again, but 3 putted 3 times in the first 12 holes. On #13 started looking at the hole only (have done this on and off for awhile). Made everything inside 5 feet and my lags were right there. Sometimes you just need to change it up.
  20. By the looks of it you need the shoe brush attachment.... works great!
  21. This may help.
  22. Still have my R-9, I swap out shafts at times depending on several things. I have a RBZ in regular, a Project X in 5.5 and a Matrix HD Radix 6 in stiff, all cut down to 43.5. Bought a Callaway Razr Fit and tried a few shafts but I didn't like it nearly as much ass my R-9.
  23. Food for thought: If an amateur wins a tournament, should the prize money go towards amateur sports? As it stands now all the pros move up, that is Karine Icher takes home first place money for coming in second, and so on. Nothing against these fine athletes.
  24. We are very proud of her down here. As she is only 16 she would need dispensation from the LPGA to turn pro, and right now she seems very happy to play the game as a game without the huge pressure of every shot counting towards a paycheck. I think you will see her in a few more big tournaments and then maybe turn pro but she wants to attend college in the states and I think a good education is a very important goal in her and her family's life. She works very hard on her game and gets very upset with herself and she knows these are the type of things that she needs to master to play every week at the top level, good for her! I personally would like to see the 18 age limit enforced for the tours. We can never get back our teenage years what a shame to have to be an adult under a microscope at that age. Just my 2 cents worth.
  25. South Island, Christchurch, New Zealand, we have a lot more courses than we have golfers. Most places are about $25 and the real nice courses about $85, but those are the ones that host all the PGA and LPGA tournaments. If you want to ride most courses don't have carts so you need to buy your own and trailer it, but you also need a Dr letter to use it, otherwise you walk.
