  2. I'm curious what the rationale is for that rule. I don't see how this gives Molinari an unfair advantage.
  3. At least in the metaphysico-theologico-cosmo-nigologistic sense.
  4. When I was a teenager I shot a 51 followed by a 37. Somewhat related, when I tried out for my high school team, I shot a +8 on the first hole, then +9 on the following 53 holes. Golf was all mental for me back in the day...
  5. Graeme McDowell : -2 Jim Furyk : +1 Nicolas Colsaerts : E
  6. Well at least you are aware of how much of a douchebag you are.
  7. I'm curious how you use a cart on a golf course, because I've never seen somebody walk while their bag rides. I am of course not talking about push carts here.
  8. Not sure why it would matter what club you use if you stick it every time. Which is the point I was trying to make by conveniently forgetting the make and model - it doesn't matter what club you use, it matters a hell of a lot more the practice you put into it. The obsession with equipment as a means of game-improvement on this forum is sickening at times.
  9. That's kinda the point, ain't it joe?
  10. I agree that he's likely just fishing for compliments. But if he is living at high altitude (5000+ft), 300+ most of the time is just not that difficult. I was doing the same when I was 13, even though I wasn't close to a 6 handicap, nor was I 5'6". But I saw kids with his build doing the same, on ocassion.
  11. He's going to strongly deny that there was a suspension no matter what the reason is for DJ's absence. Everything else is just speculatory speculation.
  12. Apparently you don't understand the meaning of the word "jest". Here, let me look that up for you: "to speak in a playful, humorous, or facetious way; joke." I'd like to see some hard evidence to back your claim that college basketball is "more popular."
  13. My 60 degree wedge was a high quality chipper. Don't remember the make or any specs.
  14. I play the Top-Flite D2+ Feel, and have zero trouble getting it to sit immediately or back up on any green - with every iron in my bag (3i-60deg). My handicap is on the way down, if anything. I should qualify my endorsement by saying that I don't play a spin-heavy pitch- and chip-game, so I can't speak for its quality there. Putts nice and soft thought!
  15. Big surprise: overwhelmingly rich white sport fan possesses great disdain for an overwhelming urban poor black sport. Don't worry love, I merely jest
  16. Not a big crossover (no pun intended) of fans between what I was referring to and golf, it seems.
  17. What are we talking about? Practice ? We're talking about practice, man. We're talking about practice. We're talking about practice. We ain't talking about the game. We're talking about practice, man.
  18. But you think use of carts is just fine and dandy. Wonderful logic there
  19. It's gotta suck to be a fast player among slow players. But making a warning a penalty means its no longer a warning. If there was near-5-hour rounds and no penalties being assessed, then maybe they need to adjust their pace-of-play rules first. And if college players really are taking that long, they'll be penalized left and right if they make it to the tour, so I don't see the problem there.
  20. Well that certainly explains their fight against Casey Martin - he is just so boring to watch, riding around in a cart everywhere!
  21. Very impressive, and a lovely view out the back!
  22. I agree that the only reason the golfer was not criticized by the media is because he is The Lord and Saviour Tiger Woods. But I'm not sure how wearing pink supports Mother's Day. And I'm fairly certain most people are aware of breast cancer by this point, and further "awareness" does nothing to assist in its medical treatement. But if you want to buy into the corporate mentality that the only way to support these causes is to be a docile little consumer ***** and deck out in all pink, go right ahead.
  23. If times do change, then why don't we see carts on PGA tour events? And why did the tour fight Casey Martin so hard? Golf may not have been meant to be walked, but it sure as hell wasn't meant to be carted either.
  24. Why is there any difference?
