Funny, I don't normally smoke on the front either. Might be because I like to tee off around 10 am and I don't normally smoke before lunch but even if I tee off after lunch I normally don't smoke on the front.

I think they will go down in history as the biggest choke of all time. Move them to the Phillipines and rename them the Manilla Folders!

My home course has too many doglegs to hit driver off every tee, most of them you will drive through if you hit 260+ so 3 wood is the more logical choice.

Right now it's "None of the Above". Not a damn one of them on either side impresses me. Crying shame this is the best we have to choose from.

Just out of curiousity, those of you who say rules are rules, play it as it lies, ect; do you always abide by all rules or just on the golf course? Example, if you were late for a tee time would you break the rules and speed? Go 60 in a 55? Personally if I'm playing in a tournement or playing my buddy for money I'm following the rules but if there's nothing on the line I figure it's recreation and I'm not hitting 3, I'm taking a mulligan! lol

So a few friends and I decide we want to build a golf course. We all pitch in a few (thousand!) bucks each, hire an architect and build a beautiful course. The course becomes world famous but is a bit much to take care of so we invite a friend or two to join us, for a fee of course. We don't know you nor have we invited you to join our little club. What makes you think you have the God given right to play on our course?

Most memorable is when my Dad and I played Lake Buena Vista at Disney. We played the back 9 without seeing anyone other than the beer cart girl. It was like we had our own private course. 2nd most memorable was a few days later playing the Patrick AFB course. Something caught my attention, looked over and saw a rocket launch from Cape Canaveral. I had forgotten they were sending up a satellite. I told my Dad to look. He watched that rocket until it disappeared from sight then turned and said "I've never seen a rocket launch before". That was kinda special.

Semi short huh? lol Thats the area I need to work on. I think what I really need is a gap wedge. For me inside 50 yds I'm pretty good, for my experience level. Yesterday my playing partners threw back 4 pitches or chips to within 3 or 4 ft of the pin. Still didn't break 100 though.

Absolutely! You will only get about 1 season from a new driver which is why you need a new one very year. Print this out and show it to your wife.
