All of which can be attributed to back problems due to compensation of the body. The body does not work correctly when you have back problems, it's a subconscious mechanism to prevent further injury. Those pullouts made perfect sense, why hurt yourself even more just to please fans who want to see you play> Like I said, I believe he used (Low dose) HGH to recover from surgery. Hell, they gave it to me with my 3rd degree burns to promote healing, and that was just debridement and skin grafts. (4iu/day for 6 months). So I have no doubt every injured pro athlete has used it suring surgery. You need to give yourself every benefit to heal. I agree with a lot of what you said though.

I get it, but tigers frame is perfectly capable of capable of holding 185lbs at his height. Tiger woods has never on PED's and the comparison I read earlier comparing him to Bonds and McGuire was out of this world stupid. I believe he used hgh under a doctors care while recovering, but most of you don't even realize that HGH is not a steroid, and speeds up the recovery process. Anyone, athlete or not, would be foolish not to use it after a major surgery.

There's a ton of speculation but no facts until toxicology comes in and see blood levels, etc. Or maybe he's just been o Vicodin long enough for pain management that they might have to ween him off for his own good. He needs to be punished, but until all the facts are out, the hatred is ridiculous.

Some good golf from bubba today.

Yes, but that's not because of PED use, I have a naturally wide frame a have always trained hard. Tiger has never been big enough to be accused of using PED's.
-
Are you seriously trying to compare the size of McGuire and Bonds to Tiger Woods? Both of those were on the edge of breaking bodybuilder size. Tiger was like 185, he just happened to look 'big' on camera in fairly tight red shirt./ I must use PED's too, because i've been weight training since before high school, and i'm 6'4 and quite big. Except for that, well, I have never, ever done PED's, and neither has Tiger. Have any of you ever seen him in person? He really is not that big at all. I saw him play in 03, 06, and 07 live at a couple of different events, Tiger isn't very big, he's just (fairly) tall, with thich legs, arms, shoulders, and chest. It gives him proportion and makes him look bigger, but he is certainly not big. Its so ****ing obvious Tiger has never taken PED's. Such a crock. He looks like a man who has worked out his whole life, no more, even at his biggest. If you think PED's would help his golf, you are being foolish.

Just so you know (and I know it;s off topic), it has nothing to do with darwinism. Darwinism is an overly broad term that nobody really uses in the biology world (unless they are teaching high school chemistry). Genetic predisposition goes far, far deeper than Darwin could ever explain. Man propagates offspring because of a genetic need to grow our own bloodline. It's genetics, and it's natural. It's only natural to want to broaden your chances of continuing your bloodline by impregnating other women. Cheating is a form of that, even when condoms are used, the issue is so deep ingrained that you either need to work to keep it in check, and train yourself to behave differently, like all human actions, or follow through with the action. That training to be monogamous begins young, usually as a child. Coming from a happy home helps, but it doesn't drive away the natural need.
-
Yep, i'm positive you have never lusted after another woman in 36 years. I'd only believe that of straight women and gay men. Attraction to the opposite sex (or same if that's your thing) does not begin and end with marriage. It's perfectly easy to be happy and still recognize the feelings another human can bring up in you. How could anyone dispute there was zero alcohol? its in the police report. He blew 0.000 Completely sober. Golf channel.. FFS.

There is no discretion nowadays. Body cams, car cams, everything has to be reported correctly, which is why I put no stock in the "damage and flat tires" report, because it wasn't in the police report. Arrest was the correct decision.
-
Thats exactly what you are doing when you get married.
-
Bla bla bla my wife and I are just fine. We don't fight over petty shit like natural attraction to other people. You know, normal life shit. She knows when someone is attractive.
-
It's not Darwinism, it's evolutionary biology. Humans were never meant to be monogamous. Choosing to is fine, but it's not in our DNA.
-
If you think i'm wrong, I suggest you do some research. Monogamous animals choose ONE mate, and never, ever move on. It's in their DNA, such as penguins, eagles, etc. We are not a species designed to be monogamous.
-
He cheated on his wife. It happens every day in a large percentage of marriages. It's actually natural, we are not monogamous by nature. It's a rule made in Jewish and Christian tenets. The very fibre of our DNA makes us want to spread our genes as much as possible. Testosterone is an important part of men's health. Many have the morals and will not to cheat, but I don't k ow anyone who doesn't have the desire to. I'd never hurt my wife like that, but I'm most certainly attracted to other women. They are beautiful creatures, how can you not be?

It's still poor decisions all around.

It's fair to speculate. But others here have straight up said " oh, Tiger was hooked on opiates before" when there's no other reason to believe that's true beyond tabloids reporting crap. "Some source who knows someone who met an associate of Tigers ex-wife said..." I agree with everything else you've said though. and if he can golf well again and get away from the meds altogether, I think Tiger can win consistently again. Especially if he could get his driving and putting nailed. Even bending to putt must have been excruciating. Also, why did the police report not mention this supposed damage to the car. A cop would have noted every ding in the car before they even tapped on his window, and reported it. Especially two flats and front and rear damage? Cop just never noticed? I doubt it.

MJ had nothing to do with painkillers though. And Prince is all speculation, since I don't think his autopsy was public (though I could be wrong on that one). I doubt Tiger is hooked on pain meds if he's only using them for pain management. I've been prescribed them multiple times. Four times for surgeries due to third degree burns, I was on them almost 8 months straight, and it was Hydromorph Contin for the burns, which makes vicodin seem like baby aspirin. Twice i had Oxycontin (10mg) for knee surgery for a month each time. When used CORRECTLY for pain management, there is little chance of getting addicted. Its when you start using beyond the need for them for pain that they become dangerous (my surgeon explained this stuff to me in great detail, because I WAS worried about it). Thats not to say addiction can't happen with pain, but the chances are less. When I got off, my dose was lowered slowly, over 45 days, from 12mg Hydromorph Contin, to 10mg, to 8mg, to 6mg and so on. I sweated for 3 nights after I got off, then I was fine. I never touched another. Tiger would have the best doctors in the world. I'm positive they would be watching out for this stuff. I don't believe the (Always uncorroborated) constant yelling that Tiger is a opiate addict. The man has too much drive. I believe he's used vicodin (some of the weakest modern painkillers) for pain management for quite a while, but I don't believe the unverified claims that he's abusing them, or has abused them in the past. When I see evidence that he is actively abusing them, i'll believe it. Until then, it's just talk and rumors. Ya, same here (in the summer, in the winter it's -40 so **** that), I enjoy late night driving, and I don't drink or do drugs. That's why I was a bit wierded out by one posters sentiment that nobody out after 1am is doing anything good. Its very possible he took his meds, was wide awake for quite a while, went for a drive and got hit hard by a reaction. As I said early in this thread before facts came out, it happened to me. It was surreal and scary. I too pulled over, but in a parking lot. He still needs to be charged, but I think labeling this as anything other than a mistake (meaning not deliberate) that led to a crime which was accidental is exaggerating a bit. I'm positive he wasn't zonked when he left with his car (unless the meds ****ed him up so bad he didn't know what he was doing and drove without even realizing it), and got hit with extreme drowsiness very quickly.
-
Meds do not affect everyone the same way, and reactions can happen long (weeks) after you have begun taking them. Thats why I don't believe this was intentional. I think he left feeling fine and had a bad reaction to the meds that he wasn't expecting. Otherwise, i'm surprised none of you drive at night when you can't sleep and need to get some fresh air and clear your head. Night time is the only time you can usually drive in peace and quiet (relatively) in a city.

Bubba... I mean, I know he's a Masters champ, noone can take that away from him. But when I watch his game, I just don't see the talent I see in other golfers. I truly believe he was a flash in the pan, he may have a good weekend every once in a while, but I don't expect much from him.

Not even if you knew it was the only time the paparazi weren't outside your house? Suffering from insomnia? You've never taken a drive in the middle of the night out of boredom?

I paid them $16 to send me a book before I knew you could get them free. I don't tend to be an app guy, I used to use a golf GPS and moved to an app (If anyone knows which one is best, let me know) using my phone for that (I paid for a month of GolfLogix, trying one at a time) but i'm not that impressed with it, though I may need to get use to it. I certainly didn't know they were free on the app store. . I Honestly can say I didn't have a clue they made them available free. I do generally know the ruling when i'm playing, or can get an easy answer afterwards, Adam (club pro) will always show me the ruling, but he works wed-sun. I handed in the card this morning, after I played 9 holes. Quite well, I might add (all things considered), a 44.

Of course he isn't handling it well. You are correct there. Who would go from number one in the rankings for 281 weeks, down to what now? Like 700+ and take it well. Somebody who is THAT competitive, and was that good, is going to have a lot of mental anguish to deal with.

At least those wedges will last you for years. I used to break 200$ hockey sticks twice a week. At least in college, they were paid for, but to this day I don't know how my parents ever afforded to put me in hockey. I have no idea, even to this day, what they must have sacrificed on me between time, travelling, equipment, and multiple summer hockey schools. It never occurred to me until I was buying my own stuff. Don't get me wrong, I wont pay 2k for wedges either, but there are plenty who will because they can, and it's not like golf is a "poor mans" sport if you really want to play well.

What issues? A broken body and a failed marriage. That happens, especially to high level athletes. I mean, c'mon, before Tiger, the tour was full of older guys who were in poor shape. It wasn't just Tigers talent that got him where he was, but his phenomenal conditioning, something that was sorely lacking in golf at the time. Tiger has trained with Navy Seals for hell week (and completed the training) as well other training exercises with them. He ran and hit the gym 6 days week, on top of practicing hours a day. Those are Tigers issues, imo, his body broke down. This is just a big fat nothing, the guy had a bad reaction to meds while driving, it's absurd to use this to point to some bigger problem when he's just had disc fusion surgery. I'm gonna be 36 in July. I played competitive hockey since I was a child until a few years ago, started at 3 1/2. My right knee has been through surgery twice. I have aches and pains all over. I'm 6 years younger than woods, and some mornings I have to take Advil before I stretch (I refuse to take anything stronger without actual need, my doctor has tried to prescribe me percocet), and sometimes i'm sore all day. I doubt I've trained half as hard as Tiger in my lifetime, so ya, pretty standard.
