I like to play early because I wake up early regardless. The only drawback is sometimes the course isn't prepped (bunkers raked) and you have to knock all the dew off. But I'm willing to play whenever as long as I can get in 18 holes

Comfortable Shoes With Toe Room

I have Eccos and they are the most comfortable golf shoe I've ever owned. -
I'd top a driver into the rough short of the fairway Hybrid to the narrow neck that would just trickle into the fairway bunker 9-iron to get out to the front of the green because I wouldn't be able to clear the lip with the 7 or 8 iron needed pitch or chip on 2-3 putt

Adjustable Woods - I've Never Had One

Being kind of an old guy(56) I've never had an adjustable Driver or fairway wood. When they are adjusted for loft does it alter the face angle with respect to being open or shut? Meaning if you have a 10.5 and set it to 9 does it shut the face?

PXG is heavily discounting, they have moved to a direct only model, are they overextended with their heavy sponsorship load? How are the clubs BTW?

I haven't seen that, do you have a lot of underwraps? I agree that they wear quickly but they have great grip, dry or wet.

My goal is to shave 4-6 off of my handicap, I was a 12 3 years ago and now I'm a 16. Right now I'm really not putting well, I was never a great putter but I wasn't a bad putter, this year I have had several rounds that were just bad and in those rounds I'm in the low to mid 90s so I could conceivably be back to mid 80s on the regular if I could just turn my brain off and feel it.

Where do You Put the Head Covers During a Shot?

I agree with this wholeheartedly, my feeling is head cover protect the thin wall and the finish on "woods"/hybrids", random marks on the top are also a distraction while setting up for a shot. I do all of the above except putting them in my pocket -

I have Clicgear and really like it, I was using a stand bag on it and, as you can imagine, it wasn't an ideal marriage. I just bought a Ping Pioneer cart bag and it fits on solid as a rock. I'm looking forward to using this combo this season.

I'm anxiously awaiting my Ping G yellow dots that I ordered on Monday, I played with a demo set after being fitted and they were great. Really long, off-center were very close to in distance to good shots and the long irons were confidence inspiring.

I'm a fan of Faldo and found him to be surprisingly more down to earth as a commentator than what he seemed as a player.

I don't think there should be rules that are different for pros versus ams. The rules of golf are the rules of golf, you're either playing the rules or not. -

I watch the ball but try to see as a whole, I line up the ball so there are no marks on top.

Great comeback by the Euros. I didn't watch much coverage, it was way too nice out but they really brought it to us on Sunday and that's when it counts.
