I suck right now because haven't played a lot lately since being diagnosed with leukemia but I've played with blades the entire time I've played. You don't like what you play with? Your the type of jerk that makes a lot of people not want to play golf because they're afraid that their equipment or how they look will be laughed at so yeah I love the look of a blade and if thats funny to you because that's the reason I play them then you have a sad life so do me a favour and get bent -

I have one and I suck! I also play blades why you may ask is because Ilike how they look. I don't give two sh*ts what people think, when they're paying for it then they can have an opinion until then F--K 'EM! Also I walk every course I play and push my bag around on a three wheeled cart. So I say why wait treat yourself now and if some has a problem with it show them where they can stuff their opinion. -
Putting - looking at the hole, not the ball
lovemylabs replied to mhenrickson's topic in Instruction and Playing Tips
I tried this method on two different rounds, one sunday, and one yesterday. I found, for me, that it got better every hole, 3' and in I looked at the ball. I think I 3 putted 4 times in both rounds, which excited me about the technique so I'll practice it more. I am with Wils5150 though, when I was playing a break I looked at the spot I thought would be correct for the break not the hole. Dave. -
How do you get it to hinge?

did anybody else see this? very sad. "Elderly golfer dies days after injury PRINT RSS Updated Oct 17, 2010 11:28 PM ET Authorities say a man who was hit in the head with a golf ball at a Southern California country club has died. The San Bernardino County coroner's office said on its website Sunday that 69-year-old Hiroshi Tango died at a hospital Saturday. On Oct. 7, Tango was playing golf at Los Serranos Country Club in Chino when he was hit in the head by a ball. The coroner says he complained of head and neck pain after he was hit and he was taken to Loma Linda University Medical Center, where he "succumbed to his injuries" on Saturday, nine days after he was struck by the stray ball."

had this exact thing happen, the doc gave me a cortisone shot in the elbow and sent me to physical rehab a couple days a week for about three weeks, that was a couple of years ago and it hasn't gave me problems since. you learn some really good stretches in rehab for that to help to keep it from returning. hope this helps.

Longest Iron in Bag... And More
lovemylabs replied to Reval14's topic in Clubs, Grips, Shafts, Fitting
I carry 2-lw Driver and 3wood. I absolutely despise hybrids, they look and feel awful but that's just me. long live the long irons. if I can find a 1 iron Titleist that I like it too will go in my bag soon. -
that's hilarious. I'll bet the scatter when told that, too funny.

I agree. the same as when I was fitted. as to the question in the thread I spent about 5 mins. with a pro last night and found that I was gripping to tight and the butt of the shaft was blistering the bottom right corner of my hand (palm side).
-
no. I,m about 3/4" down.
-
I have a problem and I hope you guys can help. if you look down at your left palm, on the lower right side on mine I have formed a blister. am I gripping to tight, to light? this happened a few years ago and cannot for the life of me figure it out. thanks in advance for your thoughts.

yesterday, rain, windy degree dropped from around 55 to about 45 within a half hour, in khaki shorts and short sleeve polo no rain suit no jacket no nothing. I froze my teets off and shot like crap my neck and shoulders still hurt. I vowed then to never be ill prepared again.

How to accurately measure distance that clubs go?
lovemylabs replied to ctmurrray's topic in Golf Talk
I don't know how exact you would be able to get as everyone hits different lengths, unless your looking just for your average. then that's just a matter of your imagination at that point. example- you could use your 5 iron for a 150 - 60 yard shot depending on how you swung the club. some times my buddies and I get together for a round and use only a 2 iron or whatever club you choose and play the entire round with it putting and all. and that will give you a good idea of what you are and aren't capable of with a certain club, as well as how much money you will loose on a certain club if you let your ego in the way. hope this helps a little, as far as the swing monitor in say the Golf Galaxies or maybe indoor golf somewhere might do the trick for you as well good luck to you.
