I used to live in HMB back when there was only 1 course and the Ritz Carlton wasn't there. The Old Course is a very good test of golf and I would highly recommend it. Pasatiempo is great but DeLaVega is also a nice course in Santa Cruz. Harding Park is hard to get on unless you are a SF resident. It's about the most private public course I've ever played. Lots of great golf in Northern California. You won't be disappointed.

I tried golfing after smoking but I found it took me way to long to putt.

I looked up the offer at Dick's and you have to download a form and send in proof of purchase receipts. I play the B330RX but I usually buy them on the bay for approximately $25 a dozen so I have a hard time paying $44.95 a dozen just to get a free jacket. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

So if I spend $89.90 + tax for 2 dozen B330 golf balls and send in the necessary receipts etc I can get a "free" jacket?

I watch the LPGA whenever they are televised. I've learned to record it so I can skip through the commercials. It seems like they have one about every 3 minutes.

Thank God I had it recorded and could fast forward through those repetitive Mexico City commercials. I also had to turn the sound off after hearing about Christina Kim's depression every 2 minutes!

I bought a brand new Ping Karsten TR Zing with the starshot finish off eBay for $100 shipped. I have several Ping putters and didn't have a Zing. I like it a lot!

Lately I just can't seem to get any tempo in my swing and find myself swinging really fast which results in poor shot and contact. Anyone have a drill that they use to create a keep a nice tempo throughout the round?

I bought a SC Newport 2 Select at the beginning of summer but keep putting my Ping Redwood Anser back in the bag. BTW I've gone back to Ping PP58 midsize grips from Superstroke 2.0 and seem to be rolling the ball better. I guess I just like the feel if the pistol grip more.

I'm 67 and was having problems with my hands cramping after a round. I went with these grips and it completely stopped this from happening. Great grips IMO.

Playing with guys that are around your handicap and at a good pace.

Well I think I'm going to put some glue on the washer so it stays on the end of the adapter as I insert it into the hosel. Once the shaft is in the hosel I can attach the screw through the outside of the head and I should be good to go. You're probably right about the washer being part of the torque process. Thanks for the replies.

On a side note I now seem to have an avatar that I didn't create?

It's a TM Stage 2 driver. I think that the o-ring (actually a flat rubber washer) just keeps the adjustment screw from falling out and getting lost during the adjustment but I could be wrong.

I removed the adjustment screw from the head so I could send the head in for painting. I was wondering if anyone could give some advice on how to reinstall the screw in the head with the o-ring attached to the screw from inside the hosel. Also is the o-ring even necessary or will deleting it cause a rattle or vibration in the shaft.

Take 2 weeks off then quit! Seriously I'm in the same boat. I was consistently shooting in the mid 80's and now I'm shooting in the high 90's. The only part of my game still in tact is my putting.

It affects me. I play at a course that doesn't have a driving range so I spend a little time chipping and putting before I tee off. If I take a double bogey on the first hole I keep thing about how I'm going to get those strokes back on the next few holes.

I recently bought a SC Newport 2 Select. After using it now for a few rounds I don't roll the ball any better than I do with my Ping Redwood Anser 303ss. I realized that I just bought a SC version of the Ping Anser putter. Live and learn.

I carry 3 - 4 - 5 Ping G15 hybrids and love them. I use the 20 degree 3 hybrid more often that my HL 3 wood.

I hit the mini at a demo day and really liked it. I bought one and can't hit it worth a darn. I'm going to sell it because it doesn't really fit my game. 14 loft with a regular flex shaft.

I have a Redwood Anser putter that I would like to have the Star Shot finish applied to. Do you sent it directly to Ping or do you need to go through a third party? Is WRX a division of the Ping repair department? Thanks -
