  1. For me, Ping. They are making great looking, feeling, sounding, performing drivers right now... I gained at least 20 yards when I got the G5. It was night and day really.
  2. Yep...agreed. Steel will not break. :)
  3. thats a ridiculous post... here is why i play blades -feel -topline view -feedback -weight -workability -distance control there are almost too many reasons for me to list. and by the way, when people point my blades out i usually shy away from that. i have blades because it is what I like and what I grew up with. In fact, in high school when i played I used to get made fun of for playing blades...but i stuck with them because its what i like.
  4. +1 very underrated clubs.
  5. LISTEN UP! take my advice...play different sets and see what you like the feel of. Narrow it down to a few sets then (mark my words here) research on the manufactuer's site the offset of each club and use the club with the smallest amount of offset! Or just get a club with a small amount of offset. :)
  6. Haven't seen anyone say this yet so here goes... black dot covering the number! No red numbers visible! I wish I could get mine without numbers even printed on them....that would be rad.
  7. im POSITIVE that you are good enough to play them! with their line big and small clubheads there is surely at least one iron to fit your game! take the splurge, help the economy.
  8. 225 yd 6 iron? good lord.
  9. AMEN gotta love this one....!!
  10. Im a HUGE mizuno fan but to answer your question? TITLEIST on both accounts.
  11. 47-pw 54 bent to 56-sw 60-lw
  12. I love golfsmith but they seem very high for grips that can be had elsewhere for better prices... Any suggestions?? ebay?
  13. PW-SW-LW at the MOST if you ask me. Different strokes for different folks but the best players I have seen/played with used minimal for wedges. Shotmakers usually don't need 4 wedges in their bags. They punch sw's, flop pw's, run lw's....for me, wedges are all about trajectory. When I see a shot in my head the last thing I think about is yardage! On a different note, I think most golfers use wedges that are TOO LONG for their game. My wedges are all about 33" or so because I NEVER hit full shots with them and I stand more hunched ala-putting style. Why would my wedges be 35" if I choke them down 2-3" for every shot?
  14. I think the shaft is more important then club loft here. I have a 13 steel and a 13 graphite and the graphite goes longer and higher. On windy days though, I will take out the steel version and it will give me a tiny bit less height and less distance as well. I like lower lofted fwy woods in general though.
  15. I have a ridculously high ball flight with a fade mostly and the only thing I can do to control this is with technique. Drawing more often and playing punch shots.
  16. Silly if you ask me. I think their stuff is overrated and only sell because of their tour pro usage.
  17. F50's were great, very underrated so im sure the F60 will perform as well...
  18. I think Tiger should leave his bag with the Buick logo to help out the us auto industry.
  19. My buddy tried the ZB's recently and said they were ridiculously good feeling...he tried a ton of irons too. Anyone like the feel of the zb's alot or what?
  20. Go steelers!!!!!!!!!!!!
  21. I know of at least one. Its amazing really. He maybe even more then a 20...haha
  22. He seems like a doink. First tee he's rolling his eyes during his introduction one round this week. I like his play but he seems like a jerkoff.
