A string wrapped around a couple of tees will work for your "down the line" alignment aid and then a couple of clubs to check your feet and see if you're square and perpendicular

Just wanted to brag on BagBoy. Their support is the best and their products first rate. My first cart bag (way back when) was a Proline GripLok bag made in Australia I think. BagBoy bought the idea from them for their clip lok bags (I read or heard that some where). I currently have the BagBoy "Griplok" cart bag which must be at least 6 or 7 years old now. It preceeded the cliplok and revolvers. It has the removeable cooler bag that they just put back on the revolver pro and 2 external club tubes. I've been checking out the revolver pro and may just have to give it a try.

Shot a 39 during league night. Chipped in for par on my second hole. Then came up maybe 10 yards short on 479 yd par 5 in two. After watching my partner chunk 3 in a row from the long and thick fringe I chipped in for eagle! Birdied the 170 yard par 3 following hole. I was 2 under at that point with 4 holes to go. Then gave it all back over the last 4 holes

I know I'm biased but Wilson Ci7s are very forgiving and quite resonable. $279 buy it now on EBay 4thru GW

Had a 39 for nine holes in my Thusday night league. Currently an 8 handicap in that league. 2 bogeys and a double but chipped in for birdie on the last hole. Had to give my opponent 5 strokes and lost totals by 1

280 yard par four with bunker guarding the entire front of the green and trees lining both sides of the fairway. I was approx 40 yards out and chipped in for eagle. This during my league night.

I'm pretty much the same. I used to strickly read the putt from behind but now if I'm not out and there's time I like to see the putt from one side of the line which has helped my distance and ability to read breaks

After I slice one over into the next fairway there always seems to be another group coming down that hole so I simply state to that group that "I thought I'd hit one over here just so i could say Hi and see how you all were doing today" When a guy in my group (league night) keeps hitting them long and down the middle I ask how it is he doesn't get bored with the same ol same old. I like to see all the course I'm getting my moneys worth today

I have a UPro and previously had a skycaddie sg4. IMO the UPro beats them all. Upro has a $100 rebate starting today. Check out the UPro http://www.uprogps.com/ I've owned both the Skycaddie SG4 and currently use the UPro. No yearly fee and all the "basic" mode courses are free. You get one free "pro mode" with your purchase. I got mine on Ebay for $200. It can measure distances and give you layup yardages. You can set them (SkyCaddie and UPro) up to go to the next hole automatically or when you prompt them to. I keep my UPro in my pocket and give it a quick look when I get up to my ball. I feel a gps is quicker than a range finder just not as accurate but that's just my opinion.

Terrible tee shot on a par four left me in a fairway bunker and 175 yards to the green. Picked a 6 iron clean and left myself a 10 footer for birdie which broke left to right and found the bottom of the cup. Wow. Two holes later on a 140 yard par 3 that slopes from back to front I hit 9 iron well past the hole (15 yards) but it spun back within 3 feet. Missed the birdie putt though. Memorable shots for me

87 today 43 on the front & 44 on the back. Missed 3 birdie putts 3 foot or less (Argh) But made a couple of great shots on the back. Was playin a match play format with a co-worker of mine . I was getting 4 strokes on the front and the same on the back. Lost the match on the last hole but playing with this fellow is a lot of fun for both of us. Cost me a hot dog & a pop

None while I'm playing but after the round I sometimes have a beer and a snack with my playing partners. We sit around and talk about what would have should have or could have been.

I've always been one to tee the ball rather low and by low I never have the top of the ball above the top of the driver. I've read that teeing the ball high will produce less fade and/or slice. When I have tried teeing higher I almost always pop the ball up. I have a pretty upright swing with my irons and feel that my driver isn't flat enough. What are your thoughts? High low or who cares? And why?
