This. I really don't see a healthy guy when I look at him. This was the player of the year about 18 months ago, could he have suddenly lost all his skills? Maybe, but I doubt it. No way his game just comes back after a back injury, so the best I'll expect from him at his first tournament is making the cut. Certainly don't think it's healthy for him to be trying to regain his stride under the intense scrutiny that he undergoes every time. I'd be happy to see him take an extended break from the game and just enjoy himself.

I may be hallucinating from not having lunch today, but I think I saw grass today in Connecticut. Y'all remember grass, right? The green stuff that grows out the ground. Been so long, I didn't even know how to act...so numb from all the cold and snow.

It is beyond low on my priority list as well. It absolutely does nothing for me, and my knowledge of the disciplinary actions does nothing to change the situation. It's not like I'll stop supporting a certain brand if I find out their representative is on drugs (PEDs are already announced). As long as the representative isn't a cheat (in golf) or a racist POS, the TOUR can deal with it in-house. I've never bought into the golf is a game of gentlemen BS. I've played other sports competitively (Soccer, Basketbal, running), and I've never met a larger groups of A-holes than I did in golf. If I understand correctly, PED violators are announced, right? I may be wrong though

I was disappointed in Clay yesterday, his antics were straight up douchy. I liked Tommy, and it felt sad watching him leave. He didn't deserve to be in that position in the first place. Wish him plenty of luck in the future.

Nothing about it is unfair. It's not like they picked the most popular guys on tour too play the event. If you wanna play, find your way into the top 50. Pretty simple.

Shackleford Poll: If Tiger Had Tossed A Club Into A Doral Lake...

All this shows is the BS known as the media. A poor act is a poor act regardless of the actor, different treatment of the same act is double standard. -

There would have been a 10 page thread going right now with all sorts of craziness -
This happened last year too

That commercial was hilarious, but these comments are hilarious. Like really, it's that serious? That's a ton of anger

My first tournament out, I made a 9 on the first hole (par 4). I looked like I belonged in the highest handicap flight, almost certain that I hadn't made more than a 7 on a par 4 all year till that point.

Snow and freezing rain tonight. Lovely

Yea, you pay full price. I believe the price was like $140, and that was about $30 more that I would have payed to play that course on a weekend. Similar to what @Golfingdad said earlier in the thread.

5 of my friends play this tour. They held one of their majors at my club last year, and a few months later, I played a round with one of the tour winners (Dude had game). All that got me very interested, so I played as a guest once last year. It was a very nice competitive experience, and I could definitely see why my friends are hooked on it. I'm contemplating joining this year, but I'm holding back as I already have a golf club and I travel to play all the time. Not sure if I should be shelling out more coin out for golf. If I don't join, I'll definitely play as a guest again this year. I believe you can play twice as a guest each year (no majors & no prizes for guests)

hmmm, huh? Are you trying to draw some type of clever inference?

I'm no legal expert,so I may very well be wrong, but I think he's angling for a defense in case he gets sued. Perhaps he'll be arguing that he has a right to his opinions no matter how unfounded they may be. Not sure how good a defense that will be, but.... I would like to see him dragged to court and sweat it out, but I hope Tiger doesn't sue him. Just let bottom feeders be bottom feeders (in PGA tour sense),. don't dignify him with a direct response. LOL, darn it, I love the image you just painted!!

A part of me thinks this ^^^^ is a result of ^^^^

That is just ridiculous, if it's accurate. (Sorry, I didn't double check it) As for the ratings, I'll advice networks to try selling the game itself post Tiger. It's a beautiful game in many ways, but selling it with a "likeable' face is an easier, age-old marketing technique that should perhaps wait till another dominant figure emerges in the game. Calling a 1-time winner in x years the next best thing is an insult to the word "dominant"

and pass on the opportunity to mindlessly make sweeping speculation on his personality based on little information? No, thank you.

Bingo!! The man says he's healthy, but evidence points otherwise. He chunked chips at the Hero challenge, but his long game wasn't that bad at all. Contrast that to his latest showing and it's night and day with the long game. I thought about this too, but I'm just gonna leave it be

I agree with this, but I still don't practice it. My issue is that I have struggled with the driver in the past, and that has left a little mark at the back of my mind, maybe one day I will get over it. I hit my driver moderately well now, and it won't end up on the next fairway, but I am ultra confident with a 3w on my hands.

Oh please, it was all tongue in cheek, continue to post away. Most of us only have about a month of this crazy weather to go, there's a light at the end of the tunnel...maybe
-
I rarely hit driver. Unless the hole plays somewhere close to 420 yards, I don't pull out the big stick. The longer I get with my 3W, the less likely I am to hit driver.
