With foursomes and teams like Mickelson/Zach and Spieth/DJ, I wonder how they settled on which ball to use and if their company pissed about it. Zach is loyal to Titleist and Phil to Callaway. I bet they decided on Titleist. Same with Spieth (Titleist) and DJ (Taylormade).

I played The Tribute in Colony, Texas (DFW). It was a great golfing experience. It is 18 holes that mimics the most 18 iconic holes in Europe. I loved everything about the course.

I wanted to get this thread going again. Has the Apple Watch been updated to serve as a golf rangefinder? I have the Bushnell Golf GPS Watch. It has served me well but I'm looking to upgrade.

I agree 100%. Let's be honest. Golf is a niche sport. The audience that watches it on television is small. The audience that watches it on LPGA is even much smaller. So they should be showing the LPGA stars that the fans want to see. I add Cheyenne Woods to your list. It seems that the LPGA television producers do always show Michelle Wie, as they should.

I thought this too. However whenever you lose a ball, it is hard to go back to the spot you hit from if there's a group behind you.

This question isn't as relevant now with all the adjustable drivers. But why are most drivers 9.5* instead of 9* or 10* or 11.5* instead of 11* or 12*? There has to be a reason, right?

I started feeling a tingling in my toe about six months ago. I too thought it was turf toe but it turned out to be high uric acid levels.

I don't want you all thinking the wrong thing about my question. I like cigars. I just have never blazed one while playing bad golf in hot Texas. I'm not the most germ conscious person but I was shocked seeing him put it in his mouth right off the ground.

I'm watching the American Century Championship. Jerry Rice is smoking a huge stogey. Before his shot, he will throw the lit cigar on the ground, hit his shot, pick up the cigar, and start smoking it again. Is this normal?

I can't be since NBC shows it every year. 2) The level of partying that goes on that we can't see must be legendary. He has some serious game. 4) Being from Dallas, I also hate that Romo is not playing. I don't want him injuring that back again prior to the season. He sent his back-up (Brandon Weeden) in his stead. 5) I am always interested in Sir Charles playing golf. Justin Timberlake is playing this year. Going to this celebrity tournament one day is on my bucket list. - How expensive is it to fly and stay in South Lake Tahoe? - Where do you fly into? - This course is in California. I thought gambling was not legal in California?

I know not everyone here is a fan of both or either.

I tend to agree. It was not frustrating at all yesterday. It was quite enjoyable. Maybe the brown look of Chambers Bay and lack of fans contributed a lot to Fox's failure three weeks ago. Or they have improved a ton in a short amount of time. They are using Holly Sonders correctly now.

Will the USGA app work for this tourney like the men's? Why isn't Cheyenne Woods playing?

I just was just watching Morning Drive (Monday, July 6, 2105). MD played a portion of a sit-down of interview of Spieth. He was outside of Austin at his junior golf tournament. I want to watch the entire interview. But MD never said where the interview was from or what network conducted the interview. Does anyone know? PS: The interviewer was a woman but they never showed her. It sounded like Holly Sonders. Surely, it wasn't her, right?
