I just happened to think about this a few minutes ago and thought someone might get a bit of a kick out of it. Every year for Christmas my grandmother always buys all of her grandchildren some kind of gift. Since she's started getting older though her daughters do all of the shopping for her now. A couple of weeks before Christmas my mom calls me and asked what I would like her to get me as a gift from my grandma. I told her to just pick me up a dozen golf balls. Knowing she doesn't really know a lot about golf, I said to get me the Nike golf balls in the green box. Simple enough I thought. So, she and her sister go out Christmas shopping. A few days later she calls me and says, "I couldn't find any green golf balls." I said, "You mean any in a green box?" She said, "No, they had some Nike golf balls in a green box, but I looked in the box and the balls were white." I immediately lost it and couldn't control my laughter. When she asked me what was funny about it, I finally had to explain to her just how hard it would be to play golf with a green golf ball.

Same as quite a few people, I take my ring off and empty my pockets, putting everything in my bag, except my watch, which I leave in the console of my car.

I've had it for the 360 since release and received the Wii version for Xmas. I've got to say the Wii version is hands down more fun than the 360 version. The club tuner on the 360 version just makes it way too easy, it basically turns every course into a pitch and putt, especially if you play online.

I'm sure, as is the case with a lot of interviews, some of that was taken out of context and/or the quotes are incomplete.

Obama didn't take up the game a year ago, it was more like over 10 yrs ago. Michelle Obama wanted him to take the game up as an alternative to his favorite sport, basketball. It didn't really work though, as he still plays basketball as well as playing golf.

I voted 7-iron. It just seems like I have so much confidence in that club. I hardly ever mess up a 7-iron shot. If I just had as much confidence in the rest of my set, I'd be a lot better golfer.

It's great that you could get out and enjoy it. It was in the low 50's here in WV today. I had planned on playing, but when I got out of bed this morning my knees and quads were killing me. I could barely walk, so I didn't see the need in trying to play. Hopefully there will be some more warm days in the next few weeks.

My daughter, who is nearly 8, just started cheerleading this season. While some may not necessarily consider it a sport, the benefits are still there. Before she started she was really quiet and shy in school and other social situations. Now she's opened up quite a bit more. Her teacher tells us that she's participating a lot more in classroom discussions now and I've noticed she isn't as shy around other people as she used to be. I would definitely encourage all parents to get their children involved in some kind of team based activities.

I really would like to see Daly turn things around. A competitive John Daly would be great to see again. I honestly don't really expect it to happen though, unfortunately.

I've got to agree with you. Nike is a large company, I'm pretty sure they have more than enough capability of producing the irons that Tiger wants.
