  1. I got mine in the mail today as well. I guess I'll just put it up until my driver needs regripped and then just put it on there.
  2. That just shows that even a bad day on the course can produce something good. Great story, I'm sure you'll be telling that for years to come.
  3. http://thecarolinasgroup.com/tribag.aspx Interesting bag, I want one now.
  4. Looks good to me. Also looks like you got a great deal, enjoy the new club.
  5. Actually, I think it takes less than two weeks to film the entire season.
  6. Great to see that another person loves their HiBore XL as much as I love mine. Since I got mine, I'm hitting the ball longer and straighter than ever before. I don't think I've ever sliced a single drive on the course since I got it.
  7. I wouldn't have my cell phone turned on while playing. Hopefully someone would leave a message and I would get it when I get to the car.
  8. I usually play from the middle tees. I've found lately though, as I get better with my driver, that even on a par 5 that I'm not having to use my long irons at all. Next time I play there, I may play from the back and see how that goes.
  9. GT: J Scott Evans I'll be getting the game on day 1. Pretty much the only game I play on Live consistently is the TW series.
  10. Judging by how quickly the price dropped on it, not many people have.
  11. I don't think they are all going to come with the TW stamp. If you'll notice some of the pictures have a AK stamp on them for Anthony Kim. I'm sure Nike will release a Tiger version of them though.
  12. I'm partial to Adams Golf myself. I love my a2 irons. You're best option would be to go somewhere that you can try them out though and hit a number of different clubs until you find what's right for you.
  13. Not unless you got your current wedges by going into the future. This ruling will only affect clubs manufactured after 2010.
  14. From the article. "Clubs manufactured prior to January 1, 2010 that conform to current regulations will continue to be considered conforming to the USGA Rules of Golf until at least 2024. This includes clubs purchased after that date from manufacturers’ existing model ranges. (According to the Darrell Survey of consumer golf equipment only two percent of irons in use are older than 15 years.) So long as these clubs continue to be conforming they may be used for establishment and maintenance of a USGA Handicap Index." I don't think any of us have anything to worry about.
  15. I'm improving on everything, but my most improved area is definitely ball striking. I'm making pure contact a lot more often now.
  16. Those would make a great conversation piece for a hockey fan, otherwise they seem kind of useless.
  17. I haven't hit the XLS model, but I love my XL. I have hit some drives this season since getting the XL that just blow my mind. Just last week I blasted one down the first fairway and couldn't believe it was my ball when I finally got to it.
  18. I love my HiBore XL. It's the straightest driver I've ever hit and the longest. I would definitely recommend you try all the drivers that you're thinking about purchasing before hand though.
  19. I've got to go with Daly on this one. Sure Harmon was within his rights to drop Daly, but it wasn't really right for him to say the things he said to the press about it. John Daly may do a lot of things that most of us don't think are right, but that's his business and not the public's. Even with all the self destructive behavior, he still does quite a bit for charity.
  20. Usually a black dot just above and to the right of the number along with an interlocking SE above and to the right of the logo.
  21. Got mine yesterday as well. I'm going to try them out tomorrow after work.
  22. If they were on the green and you were around 140 yds. away, you definitely shouldn't have been hitting.
  23. I keep mine with me on the course, but it's on vibrate at all times. My wife now knows not to call me unless it's an emergency. Last year, I was playing at Myrtlewood Golf Club in Myrtle Beach on the 3rd hole, my phone rings. My wife called to tell me that my niece had lost her glasses in the ocean. Why on earth she thought I could do something about this from the course is beyond me. After that incident and the accompanying explanation of why she should not call me, she now understands that unless someone is dying it's not important to call me at the course.
  24. I play TW 08 a lot. I also play GTAIV, but not nearly as much as Tiger.
  25. I wouldn't go as far as to tell his boss, but I would have definitely told him about his hypocrytical behavior. I'm not one to go looking for conflict, but if I felt someone was being rude to either my wife or my child, I would definitely have more than a few words for them.
