Its not unheard of when people abandon their woods. Just thing about getting better at driving the ball and having a nice and easy 100 yard PW to the green. And sinking that birdie. Possible if you work on your drives sir.

Best the search feature could do. I played with 3 strangers yesterday and mistankly picked up one of their pitching wedges, not my own. Went to the pro shop to see if they had returned mine. They took the club i had, put my name and info on it and said to check back next week if they dont call. Anyway i just ordered custom labels for my clubs from golfsmith. I should have done this last season when i bought them. Meh.

I went out today, like most days as a single. It rules. I hit my drive, then i hit like 4 balls after that. Get up to the green and hang out there for a few minutes with mulitple balls. Practice, practice, practice. That was the front 9 today. The back was busy. So i met up with a twosome and another single. Friendly guys at around the same level i am. I have plans to play at a new place on friday, alone also.

YAY! For ever it seems i used the same grip that i use for every shot........... Well today that stopped. I remember seeing a video of guy throwing the ball underhand into the hole each time he tossed it. So i tried the right hand low method (i guess thats what you call it). I was getting close and making putts i never would have made with the other grip. I promised to really work on my short game this season. Mostly because it is the cheapest way to get better. My chipping has gotten really better. But till today putting hasnt changed much. I know its just one round but im more confident that with more practice i can really putt the ball with no issues. NO MORE 4 PUTTS! YAY!

Im lucky to break a 100 and i cant drive the ball consistanly over 250.

A few weeks ago i was a 6 foot putt away from an eagle. AND I MISSED IT!

Im off all week but the weather looks to help me budget. Going to go out on thursday but thats it. What ive doing is practicing around the green more. I bought 60 used ball on amazon for 20 bucks. And a shag bag for 20. Its free to use the practice greens at every course i visit. Im sure it will shed numbers off my game and its free at the same time. WIN WIN!

Shot a 47 on the front 9 at Breezes Runaway Bay in Jamaica last week. Sure was windy. 3 par's on the front and one on the back.

Chipping around the practice green. And putting. Is practice putting with a used ball a bad idea? I should really ask these questions once i see what condition the balls are in.

The 60 used Titelists i bought from Amazon should be here on monday. I only want them for chipping practice. Bad idea?

When i was younger i worked in the bag room of a local private course. I got a free bag, clubs, lessons and every monday or early evening was able to play. Its what originaly got me into the game. Ive actually thought about cadding these days. Not for the extra cash but for the exercise and ability to play there on Mondays.

I hit everything pretty straight. I even made a few par putts. All in all an amazing outing. One of my bests. 3 par's (9 holes). No lost balls. Nothing to be upset about. I need to work on putting but thats nothing new.

It has been beutiful hasnt it. I got to the range twice last week and played 9 up in Rockland on Sunday. Going out again on Saturday. The early forcast says dry and 50 degree's. My personal favorite forcast for golf.

Start keeping score? Right now i dont. I only remember how many par's i have. And how many **** up's. Also i ordered 60 used balls off ebay the other day. I need to spend more time on and around the greeen. No more 3+ putt's and im sure my game will be drastically improved.

That's good to know. I actually ordered new shoes last night. They will likely be here before i leave (9 days from now). Not sure which im going to bring. But still good to know. Thanks.

I cried the first time it aired and more times watching it again. Its on youtube and its fantastic. The best 10 minutes to ever air on tv. It shocks me that more people didnt watch SFU. Shocks and saddens.

Time flies. Leaving in 16 days. Im going to rent. Only playing twice so its not worth the hassle. And i cant say i have been to the range that often this offseason so no matter what i play with it wont be pretty. But fun, im sure.
