  1. Don't get it stuck in your head bud, that will help lots and as for your sudden change, perhaps you pulled a muscle or slept wrong and your muscles were feeling comfortabe that day. Main challenge of golf is consistancy
  2. I have to say chipping has to be a favourite of mine. Theres something about it that just makes it a great part of golf
  3. I have a decent grip on my clubs with my L pinky interlocking with my R index finger and i find it most comfortable. I've tried messing around with changing hand grips before but they all felt like i was gunna throw the club lol. I feel with the considered full lock grip i can get better wrist movement when on my foreswing.
  4. To an extent, this year i can see much more power behind your swing and it shows well on your course, perhaps why you may have some controlling issues with hooking then slicing on the next hole. And as for that front knee bending in you don't do that anymore, but the hip action is still to much. I gotta get my swing up on here, but i wanna wait till i get the new driver since thats gunna be soon anyways, considering the driver i have isn't suited for my swing style.
  5. Do you have similar problems with your nine iron? or does it tend to just be when your using a PW etc. Try having a bit steeper down swing, this way to you can grap some grass to make a divot and hit the ball correctly.
  6. 16.. technically started when i was 9 but didn't start golfing commonly and working on improving till i was 12.
  7. Theres that front knee bending in again Dent just like me with my 3i & 4i. Btw that was at rossmere right?
  8. lol well said, i'd be interested in joining that league if i never found golf:P
  9. If i come out with a decent score, yet knowing i was playing my clubs right and made right choices on teh course wether it be playing if safe or choosing the right club. But i think most of all im happy when i have a good short game, such as having under 32 putts and good chipping
  10. If i never found golf, i'd probably be playing hockey year round instead of just in fall-spring.
  11. 4 iron ill hit, even if wind is against i don't have great confidence in my 3 iron :( only for punch shots i feel comfortable with it
  12. It all depends on how much you are willing to pay for new shafts, and how much your willing to pay if you looking to get all new clubs. Find what you like out of shafts and what you like out of new clubs and compare the prices and there you have your answer. If i were in your situation i'd spring for new clubs, yes you'd have to get used to them and adjust but in the long run it'll be much more worth your money.
  13. Do you think its worth it though if the "new and improved driver" is another $100 more or so?
  14. I'd like to point out Taylormade on this one since being they have quite a few new drivers that have came out that are becoming quite pricey. Does anyone else here believe that some of these companies just make another "version" of a club so they can jack up the price a bit more? Or do you believe it actually has some better attributes to it.
  15. Knowing someone is the key to getting most jobs in the world. Helps alot none the less... though if you have been golfing at the course for a few years and made yourself become known to the workers there and liked by them, i'd say u have a good in.
  16. Having the ball right under my eyes works best for me, and right between my feet. I feel then i can play brakes much better and get a better sence of judging the right power for my putter swing.
  17. I don't feel that the type of ball makes much of a difference at all, but it could help a small bit. But if you tend to feel more safe and comfortable when putting with a "higher caliber" ball i'd say use them and you'll find yourself draining more putts.
  18. I use Pinnacle gold, been using them since i started golf basically, never complained with them not to mention the great prices you can get for them on ebay
  19. Yes! Tracy II, one of the best purchases ive made towards golf!
  20. Man that sucks! My biggest fear is that one time somehow at the gym when lifting weights on a certain machine that i may injure myself like a bad muscle strain or something. Thought playing hockey i get banged up bad i bruised 3 ribs and rotater cuff in my shoulder earlier this year. Went to physio a few times, to get rid of the pain it hurt to breathe. Couldn't imagine having that when wanting to golf
  21. Yes! is coming out with wedges in Europe and Japan, they'll come here depending on how there sales go in Europe and Japan. Funny thing tho is that there all gunna have guy names:P
  22. Ive played Dent in ping pong.. he's not the ping ponger he talks about i single handedly defeated him in a match to 21
  23. If you don't let the fact that your previous score was affected by your short game it won't phase you when you come out next and own the greens! Just don't over think things when you approach to make ur putts.
  24. I bought a Tracy II brand new for $200 at golf town last year, the roll is amazing! Contact with the ball makes no initial hop that many other putters do.
  25. What are we trying to turn this into???.... disk golf?
