  1. Is this a trick question? There has to be something that he is not telling us.
  2. I have not seen balata's except for in range balls that are really old. The closest thing that you will get to it is the Pro V1 is you are playing titleist. It has great fell around the green and explodes of the clubs for full shots.
  3. My favorite club in the bag would have to be my putter right now. I am really putting well considering how I used to putt. I would have to give my 4-wood a second to that. My dream club/s would either be a new set of true blades that I have not decided on yet or maybe some really good wedges.
  4. I have the MP 32's and love them. I probably should have tried the 67's, but I am happy. If I had to do it again, I have not idea what I would buy. I just like them and they feel awesome.
  5. I miss them, but I like the ones that I have and I have gotten used to them. I can deal. Does anyone still use metal spikes.
  6. I will have to agree that I am a Titleist fan, but I love the Mizuno's. I really like the MP 32's that I am playing with now. Cannot get enough of the feel when you hit them good. You cannot even really tell that you hit the ball it just feel so natural and good. I would like to try the new Titleist blades though.
  7. If there was one for the course that I play at, I would have one.
  8. I like that long courses becasue you have to manage you game and play your way around the course. I wish I had one around here that I could play more frequently.
  9. That is really good advice. That is something that all of us you look at.
  10. Okay. I went to the range twice this weekend and have it somewhat fixed. I can actually hit the ball consistantly, but in doing all of this, I have found another major flaw that I am working on. It also explains why I am having so much trouble hitting the ball consistantly. I am coming across the ball slightly and having to keep the club face really open to hit the ball where I am aiming. That explains why I am having trouble hitting the ball consistantly at my target line, along with why it is going so high. That is another problem with wedges. They go astronomically high. I think that they go higher in that air than they do distance wise. Probably not, but you get the point. I am working on this now and if anyone has some input, it is always appreciated.
  11. I will have to say titleist, but if you look at my signature I am using Titleist and Mizuno.
  12. If I had to choose to have all of one kind, I would probably go with Titleist. I have never used the irons except for the Model 100's that I learned to play golf on, but I would be interested in trying some of the new forged blades. I will have to put Mizuno in a close second though. I really like my irons, and the wedges are not bad either. I am not sure about the Woods or putters. I will stay with my Scotty Cameron anyday though.
  13. I have the Project X 6.5, and they are in my Mizuno MP 32's.
  14. Technically speaking I have all the same. I have not gotten around to changing my driver grip, but all the rest are the same. Of course, that is excluding the putter.
  15. I would have to vote for None Of The Above. I do not have any of them so I do not use them.
  16. That is tricky. I have the most flexibility with the sand wedge and I use it for chipping the most, so I have to say the sand. But that all depends on the golf course that I am playing. Longer courses, I do not use it as much, and shorter courses I use it much more.
  17. I guess I kinda have a tweener. I have musle backs in the MP 32. They are not quite blades, but really close. I really like the workability of the blades. I am not so keen on the cavity. But if you want to get better, you need the cavity backs, they are much more forgiving.
  18. I like the Titleist wedges, but I also want to take a try with the cleveland wedges.
  19. I like the feel and the workability of the ProV1. It is easy to put a lot of spin on the ball and just as easy to no put any spin on it.
  20. I use Titleist, so I had to vote for them. I want to try the 906F4 anyways.
  21. I use the 3/4 swing. It does work most of the time, but my biggest control problem is distance here. I know that will come with practice. I keep the ball back in my stance with my wedges. I usually play all of my shots farther back in my stance. With my swing it gives my the rocket shots high and soft. The half shot do not work well for me either. And I really have to practice a slower swing for these shots. Every time I try to slow down my swing, I have a tendacy to hit the ball chunky. I am going to the range this afternoon anyways, if there is not a thunderstorm and I will take all of ya'll's advice and see what I can try to do. I usually spend most of my time with wedges when I am hitting anyways because I know this is what I need to work on the most. I do pick a target and work on hitting directly at it. I learned that one a long time ago to not just hit ball speratically. Again, thanks for the advice and keep if coming and I will let you know what happen this afternoon if there is not a thunderstorm.
  22. I have a problem that I want to run by some of you. The biggest problem in my game is trying to get the ball close from 130 yards and in. This when I start hitting my Gap, Sand, and Lob wedges. For some reason I am fairly descent with the PW on up to the 6 iron. I am by no means a darts thrower at the greens, but I can hit them pretty consistently with some targeting problems that I am fixing just with more practice. Those are just minor goofs when I am hitting the irons. The problem might be the confidence, but I cannot seem to even get a consistent play from the wedges. I have gotten much better just by going to the range and hitting them more and more. Really, I just want to know what some of you do for hitting the scoring irons better. Back when I was in high school, I was fairly descent with them, but that was because I could not hit the ball as far as I do now. I found myself hitting the 6-9 irons a lot more and now I am hitting 9-LW into most greens. The course that I play at is really not that long and I am doing this while playing of the back tees. Does anyone have any suggestions?
  23. I keep the usual of putts, GIR, and Fairways hit.
  24. The biggest problem that I have when I am pulling putts is keep my head down. I find myself looking to see where it goes before I get through hitting it. That is just what I do, put I do not pull as much if I listed for it to go into the hole instead of looking for it to go in.
  25. I have Golf Pride Tour Velvet Midsized on all of my clubs except for my driver. I have a Lamkin Midsized on it becasue that is what it had on it when I bought it and have not had the feeling to change it. I do not like it as much as my golf pride's though. If the New Decade grips were available in midsized, I would be using them though. I might not because I get the logo's turned down.
