  1. There's a weight off Rory's shoulders it seems so he's on my radar. Scottie has to slow down at some point, is this his week? Brooks is a possible. I figure there are about 10 guys with a realistic chance of winning, and Michael Block isn't one of them. We can move on from him now. Knowing my luck he will hang around high enough up the leader board and he can reset that 15 minute clock. Daly? Really?

  3. I' left lots of skin in many a pools back in the day.
  4. I agree. this wasn't decided Sunday night. Maybe a weight was lifted off his shoulders a few weeks ago and got him more relaxed. I wonder it will be brought up in his presser tomorrow? I'd like to think out of respect they will focus on golf but some one will bring it up I'm sure.
  5. Hitting toward the toe and on the toe are two different things. Clubs are more forgiving and since manufactures track data they build game improvement clubs to help golfers when they hits towards the toe. I think its Wilson Staff that actually put that wording in their product details for one of their irons. As for your back, all I can say is stretch, I'm no doctor so cant offer much. Here's a drill for you if you are interested.(Buy some spray foot powder and spray your club face when you hit some shots. ) At the range, out in front of you, place a ball directly in front of your position a few yards out, then one off to the left and right. Take turns hitting shots to the center then outside the left ball and outside the right ball or between two of them. Dont adjust your body position or alignment. Set up like you were going to hit the ball straight out in front of you then just use your hands to open/ close the club face to make the ball go to the left or right. My instructor had me doing that last year for club face control and I finally got the hang of it and could manipulate the club face and I was hitting in the center of the club face. it worked for me. Just an idea.
  6. If you got fit for them, just go hit them. Better yet, do the drills your instructor showed you.

  8. Seems I remember hearing/ reading that somewhere a while back. Let's start another topic, "How Many Majors Would Tiger Have Won if He Had Stayed with Titleist?" LOL

  12. If that's the case then I'm buying one, I love the riff-raff. I will proudly even wear it backwards here in the trailer park. Hopefully I can win enough on a few scratch off tickets though to get the money to buy one, 😃
  13. I'm re-watching the Office right now. It's not a hat. Its a 70 dollar hat. I looked at the website. I doesn't take strokes off your game or give you a happy ending. Why is it 70 bucks? Someone around here has one. Hey it's Phil's hat of choice.
  14. Just curious if anyone has bought one and if it was worth 69-79 bucks? Seems they launched a Front 9 collection. 15. Thats the second hardest hole so bogey is ok. How do you do on the number 1 hardest hole?
  16. Same for the story. 😃
  17. At my level it is about stringing together par holes and not get over confident if and when I do. Honestly, I have only 2 goals when I play. Don't 3 putt and don't go in the water. Interesting video on how he practices though. I think when you play practice rounds it should have some sort of goal. Sometimes I will play 2 balls and see which one gets the better score or whatever. He kind of word salads sometimes in his videos but I like him. I'd like to see him and Trevino do a video together.
  18. Taylormade Qi10 Max driver.
  19. One thing that has helped me tremendously is to spray the club face with foot powder when I am on the range. Seeing ball impact can be quite helpful if you are hitting shots all over the place. It's not the cure all, but a good little thing to do on the range. The other thing, and I will forget to do it, is the pre-shot routine. Find me a spot a foot or so from the ball in-line with my target, take my stance, take the swing. Sometimes you take a BS practice swing with no thought. Make it deliberate. As far as swing thoughts. I have 3 check-points. First is set-up, Second is my take away, Third is my downswing. I cant explain what I think I just know in my mind. Its a feeling that I have that feels right and experience has shown that if I follow those 3 thoughts more than likely the outcome will be what I was looking for. Now, thinking about the feeling and executing it properly is a whole different thing, that;s why I practice, I used to be over a 20 handicap, I am down to a 15.1 in about a year. I feel like its good progress. the goal is a 10 by the end of the year. If I make it great, if not, hey at least Im not in Gaza. LOL
  20. Shot a 37 with two birdies. 2 highlights which came on the same hole. Had a 297 yard drive which set me up for a nice approach on my nemesis hole which I walked off with a birdie. Previous best for ages was a bogey on that hole. 2 more added to the birdie challenge.
  21. He wont win. I'm just going to leave it alone, Come on, the guys name is Gooch. The jokes write themselves. Had to suck in high school.
