I'd look into the Nike Sumo 5000 or 5900. Usually the more square the club the more forgiving it's suppose to be.

Thats pretty much what I do with my 17* hybrid. I hit my fairway wood only like 10 yards further and wayy less accurate. I take it out and I am hoping to find a gap wedge at like 50 or 51* or a 13* 3wood that I can hit off the tee.

I have the Nike Sumo original as well, and my regular shaft if too weak. A week ago I tried a Titleist 907D2 and the ball flew off that face wayy quicker then it did with the Sumo. I suggest looking for a new driver, if I wasn't leaving for school today I would look for one but I need to save my $$

Not trying to hurt your self esteem but did you check the lofts? These TM's might be 2* stronger than your pings.

Just wondering as a 29 handicap, where do you believe you lose the most strokes?

Look into Wilson iron sets if an iron set is what you want. They are really cheap. I got mine brand new with Golf Pride Grips for 125$. You can probably find a good set of Wilson's for under 150 and spend the rest on other golf equipment that you may need.

What type of ball are you playing with? I know Nike and Callaways but are they HX tours, I/ Ix, Nike Tour or Nike Ones, Cally Hot Bites?

One question that might help answer this is if you have a cut/slice or hook/draw. ProV1 usually will help increase that, as a ProV1x will not as much. Thats why I play TP Reds instead of the blacks.

I use my 60 degree maybe once a round. Like people said when you don't have much green to roll it on or if I need a shot that goes about 60 or 30 yards. As for walking vs. cart, I get carts for free as part of my job, but I believe walking would help me concentrate more on my game plan and less socializing.

So lets say I had not looked for my ball and found it in the water. I then declare it OB, play my provisional and take a 5? Would that be correct? Obviously, I'm not going to, this is more of just a rules question.

So yesterday I was on this par 5 on the course I work at. I end up hitting my second shot with a 6 iron to the right, where it can either be OB or in the water or safe (happened the last 2 times). I end up hitting a provisional just incase, and hit it about 5 ft from the pin. I find my first ball in the water, so I am about to drop then I remember watching this golf movie (forgot name it was on at the end) where this guy was playing in the US Open. He was trying to hit it on the green and 2 and every time it would roll back in the water where he would drop from the same spot and try again. So I wondered, am I able to play my provisional plus one for the drop? I sank the putt so do I get a par? The water is marked red and I do not know the ruling on this situation. I played a second ball from where I would drop my first shot and got a 6. I used that score for my card but I would like to make it one stroke better if possible. Thanks for the help.

Mine is legit. It's actually 16.1 now.. Will be 16.3 by the revision this week. I did once forget that I got an 8 on a hole were ESC made it a 7 and I forgot to post it that way, so I'm actually more of a sandbagger if anything.

How far are you willing to travel? Are you staying in Seattle? An obvious choice is Chamber's Bay (South of Seattle). Home of the 2014 US Open. A couple good courses on the eastside of Seattle (Bellevue, Redmond area) is the Golf Club at Redmond Ridge and Willows Run Golf Course. Tomorrow I play the Prospector Course about 90 miles away. It was designed by Arnold Palmer!!

Not offending me, this putter is my first Mizuno club and I LOVE IT. 14 putts today for 9.. only one tap in from a chip too. Mizuno makes great irons that a lot of people here play and love. They just want you to learn their joy. Try and find a bettinardi next time at golf smith. They are harder to find than cameron's (pro golf here doesn't have them, puetz does).
