I played serious for a year, and could only get to 111.

I get this itch ALL THE TIME, but then I just clean my current clubs, and realize they are still nearly brand new

I have played in something like that once..It was nuts!!!

I have fun when I go out, and that is all that really matters to me. However, I am getting close to breaking 100

I don't care for them, I like carrying my own stuff to and from the car, as well as anything else I need to do.

Mine stay in all summer long..Golf clubs aren't high on the list of things to steal, In my opinion

I completely agree with getting shoes..I found a pair of nikes that were $39.99 at a Nike factory outlet near my house, and they are extremely comfortable, and worth the price too! I was also pretty skeptical, but they really do help you keep planted in the grass, and honestly it made me feel a bit better about my game! On top of all that, I don't have to worrry about keeping my normal running/tennis shoes clean and dry on the course.

I have a 18 Hole Par 3 course about a mile from my house. It's only $7.00 for all 18, so I get plenty of par 3 practice!

I'm working on Harvey Pennicks Little Red Book right now, and its pretty rad. BTW, you can get any and every golf book on ebay for pocket change..I got LRB for I think $1.20, with $3 shipping

I won't go with less than 6, unless I know a buddy has a few possible "loaners"

I have a PW (not sure of the degree) and a 56* wedge, I'd really like to get a 60* to play around with though. In my opinion, the 56* is pretty versitile

I've been meaning to ask for a while, but do any of you have tattoos? I have a piece around my wrist that goes halfway up my elbow all the way around my arm,and one on my back, I know not ALOT of golfers have them, but I am really into them, and plan on more, hopefully a full sleeve on my right arm someday. Suprisingly enough, I have never really gotten a bad vibe from any old timers, or people at the various clubhouses (I thought I would) as to alot of people, tattoos are looked down on. So, who has ink?

It was a 485 yard par 5, straight as an arrow..I remember worrying "How the hell was I gonna get the ball all the way down there" lol. I think I was 2 or 3 over par

Like the title states, shooting high 40's on 9, and low 100's on 18..I don't want to go to a course and look like an idiot, but I do want to go have fun. Any recommendations?
