  1. I haven't hit one but recently played with a fellow using one. He loved it. Nice looking club. cubdog
  2. Beautiful! Some people just don't get it. cubdog
  3. Most pros kept their gloves on when putting until I think maybe the late 60's. I don't know who started the no glove while putting routine. cubdog
  4. Don't forget Jack Dempsy, Joe Louis, and Seabiscuit. Along with Babe Ruth they were, in their day, all more famous than Tiger. cubdog
  5. Buy it before it's gone. cubdog
  6. Srixon owns both Cleveland and Never Compromise. cubdog
  7. I played their persimmons for years. I haven't seen quality gear from them in years, just Wal Mart stuff. I wonder if these are really any good or just hype. cubdog
  8. Taylor Made R7 TP irons. Some golf balls and a new rules book. cubdog
  9. TM Burners. 19 and 22 degree. The 4 degree closed face is a pain, for me, however. I keep hooking them unless I alter my swing. I may change next year. cubdog
  10. I'm buying new irons and have tried a bunch. My favorites thus far are 1. Taylor Made R7 TP, 2. Taylor Made R7, 3. Adams A3, and 4. Ping I10 in that order. I'm a fair ball striker, lousy putter 13.6 handicap. Any opinions or advise? Thanks. cubdog
  11. I still like the looks of my Tommy Armour 845s. Even though I'm shopping for new irons I doubt I'll find anything as pleasing to my eye. cubdog
  12. I think I'd stick to 14. It's a number I'm used to. cubdog
  13. I need a new bag. Any recomendations? I've been looking at the Sun Mountain C-130, Taylor Made GTR and Bag Boy NXO. Thanks. cubdog
  14. Footjoy fits me best. I really like the Dryjoy model. cubdog
  15. I'm a big Hawkeye fan so obviously I'm very happy. It's been another weird college season. cubdog
  16. I would choose the Nike. Pretty good ball at that price. cubdog
  17. I find I have more control with stiff shafts (woods and irons). My swing speed with my driver is 100 to 105 mph. I tried a driver with a regular shaft but would miss equally right and left. cubdog
  18. I grew up using mallets and always liked them. After buying a Ping Pal 4 I never went back. I just love the way it feels. cubdog
  19. Congratulations President Elect Obama. cubdog
  20. Dryjoys. Very comfortable. cubdog
  21. Another vote for Ping. Great putters. cubdog
  22. Three black dots in a line. cubdog
