Starting up P90X Monday. Going to do the Lean version and cutting out a Cardio and putting X stretch in its place. Hopefully this will help out with my flexibility.

I had a $50 giftcard for Austads so I ordered one last night. For that price I am willing to gamble a little and give it a try. Thanks for the suggestion. If I like it I can get me another golf toy for chritmas :)
-
Well I went ahead and bought it so i am looking forward to checking it out. I checked most online retailers and they are selling them for $179.99 but Austad's golf has them for $59.99. I don't think I got a bad deal since i had a $50 gift card. The putter cost me $24 total with 2nd day delivery.

Only thing I am changing for next year is the putter. Not to fond of the 2 ball srt i have and just purchased a Slotline putter. On the exercise I am starting P90x lean program this coming Monday to tone up and trim the fat off and My main goal next year since I didn't accomplish it yet(not done) this year is to break 90 (shot 91).

Sorry but i totally disagree with you. I have never hit my Irons as good as i have until I adopted S&T; back in June. I haven't loss anyof my Driver distance and I gained 2 clubs with my Irons. I am only missing 1 thing to finally hit my goal this year of breaking 90 and that's been my putting and the only reason its suffuring is due to the fact I have been working on my swing more than anything this year.

Good Luck and if you make it on I will be rooting for ya!

I may go ahead a pull the trigger on its since I have a $50 coupon that I can use at Austads so it will only cost me $10 and shipping. I have never heard of them until today but it has to be better that my $8 dunlop from Wal- mart

on sale for $59.99 TGW has them on sale for $179.99 and its weight is 360g

Opinions on this putter. I am looking for that style of putter and also looking at the Odyssey #9 white ice. The Slot line is on sale for half the cost of the Odyssey.
-
I was using my Iphone posting that and its a little hard to double check on safari for me :)
-
Wow thats a good looking putter. I'll defiantly check it out

Currently i have a $8 Dunlop that I am using and i have a Odyssey 2 ball SRT in the closet that i am trading in here soon. taught I would like a mallet but just didn't so I am looking at the Odyssey White Ice #9 (Christmas Present)for next season.

Is Lee the best? That's to be debated but in my eye's he is the #1 player in the world due to the fact that he got their by the rules of the ranking system. Wether they are a right or not Tiger helded onto it for so long by the same mathematics. I am not sure how long he will hold it because there are a lot of great players bunched up at the top and any of them can have a hot run and take it over. My guess s Tiger will have it back by mid next year but if Kaymer stays on his run it could be interesting. I think it will make a very interesting 2011

This is pretty much why I use a Holder that sets in the cup holder of my cart which both me and the passenger can see it. I turn it on 10 minutes before I tee off 1 so it can fully connect and it stays on till I get to my car to load up. The only thing it takes is a glance to see the front, Back and center of the green yardages and make the decision to pull the club. I also switch to the next hole as I am traveling to the next tee box. Everyone who rides with me are pretty excited that I have it. I drop them off at there ball tell the the yardage and the go to mine while they are prepping for there shot.

I use my GPS up to about 40-50 yards then I pretty much go by feel after that. I am not great from 60 to 100 yards that why I still look at my distances.

Starting the turn with the hips...how?
Jell0b0y replied to xxsoultonesxx's topic in Instruction and Playing Tips
this is exactly what I try to do. Getting better but still a lot more work to ingrain it. -
Doesn't the swing path also have an influence on the type of putter whether its face balanced or heel balanced? I am in the process of shopping for a new putter since I have been using the 2 ball I don't feel reel comfortable with it and have been using my $8 Dunlap Wal-mart special and Christmas is coming up and I got a putter at the #1 spot since its the weakest part of me game.

Good points. It's just ignorance on my part of the job that they do and comparing them to a push cart and dr. Phil was pretty harsh. I had a rough day yesturday and it shows!
-
It's not that I don't think caddies are important. I understand the Peping up there players, helping with club selection and general maintenace but yardage is a huge part of there job. With Range finders we could be seeing more and more doctor Phils carring bags :)

If I can physically get the tee in the ground or snow but that's about it. I'll play if it 45 degrees or higher.
-
Working on a Push-Draw at the moment. It comes and goes but I have hit a few just have to make it more consistent.
-
It wouldn't bother me but what would the caddies really do that a pull cart couldn't replace besides maybe advise on what shot to hit. It could really change the dynamics of Professional golf which could be a good thing.
-
It still feels foreign to me and I have been doing it by myself since June. I have had no lessons on it yet so that's probably part of it. It's just starting to click this week due to this thread as of why I couldn't push-draw but after re-reading Iacas's write up on ball flight laws linked in this thread I had an Aha moment and now under stand why and have hit a few my last practice round. I go to Erie once a year so next time I'm up I am going to setup a lesson at Golf Evolution and see how it goes.

I like playing other course to but I joined a local 9 hole muni for $425 year which includes cart storage and rolling fee so I have extra to go to other courses but play a lot during the week at my course. I could join the semi-private 18hole course here in town for $80 a month but I would feel I would need to play there more for double the cost not including storage and rolling fee. it is a much nicer course and a full 18 but just haven't made myself spend the extra $$$

I have to say this should be nominated for thread of the year. All started by one golf ball being taken from a range bucket.
