1. Great show been watching it years
2. Birdie, eagle finish from Rory. That makes the round look a lot better
3. Poor picks in my opinion. Is the presidents cup a big deal over there? Compared to the Ryder cup? Being English I have no idea how big it is for you guys?
4. Therapy? Sex Pistols Ac/do (bon era )
5. he is a cracking player. I think he will go on to win several tournaments. That was funny though.
6. Hello mate. Not too far from you in Norfolk.
7. Finau going well. Bloke hits it a mile.
8. I suspect you may be right. Although he is capable as we know.
9. What does anyone think of kaymers chances?
10. country :)
11. As did Norwich!
12. yeah fair point. So. Tyson for captain then. Actually I agree with whoever posted earlier. .Pretty over inflated job rc captain.
13. yeah I have no doubt he was up there. Probably further than I think if I'm honest but my guess would be a cricketer. They are fanatical about cricket in India, Pakistan etc and it is reasonably global. I don't know what the population of India is exactly but I'm guessing at least 3 times that of usa. And a lot of cricket playing nations it is their only major sport. Someone like Sachin Tendulkar is going to be known by a lot of people to say the least. I'm not down on MJ nor basketball. And I'm aware he transcended the sport, he'll I'm only aware of 2 and he is one. I just think you are underestimating just how big sports like cricket are.
14. nope never heard of it but I believe you. No reason not too. However that still doesn't make him the most well known athlete in the world. Not by a long chalk. Football is probably the most global big sport in the world therefore I would guess the highest profile footballer would be the most well known sportsman in the world at the time . Basketball... not a big sport in most of the rest of the world. Not to mention the cricketers in Asia that are treated like absolute gods. I stand by it. Not even close.
15. oh in not saying he was not well known. But world's best known at one time? Not even close mate.
16. sorry I have to disagree with the world's largest athlete part. Plenty of people have never heard of MJ. Basketball barely registers in most countries. Going on that basis you would be better off going for Mike Tyson as captain. Actually...... ;)
17. All about survival for my team this year (Norwich City) promoted through the play offs last season.
18. The players themselves are certainly still very bitter. Russians too . Strange times.
19. Just watched a documentary on this game on sky and found it fascinating. I know next to nothing about basketball and knew nothing about this. It is not a popular sport in England. Was wondering if anyone on here can give me an insight into how big a deal it was at the time. The respective players certainly haven't forgiven and forgotten.
20. english footy hoolies are virtually non existant now but i get your point. Our eastern european friends make us look tame these days.
21. the wife has Donald. I have a feeling he could figure too.
22.
Problem is this wind is expected to last throughout the day. Might become a Monday finish. Spieth said they should never even have started playing today.
i like spieth and i have money on dj but they had to give it a go i think. Not sure the wind had too much to do with dj,s duffed chip though!
23. Thats as maybe. I was speaking for myself i just call it the masters. For what its worth i agree. One thing that does piss me off though (and many others) i,m not a bloody euro ;-)
24. I don,t get pissed off with it at all and i am english. What you call it amongst youselves i could not care less. However say we were to create our own masters tournement. In my eyes yours would be the original and therefore i would speak of yours as the masters and ours as the u.k or british masters. Just common courtesey really.
