    Shot 98 at Crumpin-Fox Club in Bernardston, MA last Friday. Played pretty well by my standards. I have also determined that I play much better without my 60* wedge and it is now in the closet. I had 4 pars thru 11 holes and had a few mishaps after that.

    I'm really hoping to see Lee Westwood use his Ping Fetch putter to take his ball out of the hole. I would enjoy that!

    I have a nephew who is doing his Summer internship at Sand Valley this Summer. If the family decides to do a road trip out there (from Massachusetts) to visit and play maybe we will run into some of you guys.

    Went back to DSG because I thought that the Volvik Vivid golf balls in Matte Green were really cool looking and also picked up a dozen Pinnacle Rush Yellow golf balls. Looking forward to trying each of these. And the gloves I previously purchased are WeatherSofs, not SofJoys.

    Just curious, are you a Hayley Westenra fan? I've heard that she is the biggest selling artist in New Zealand. I am familiar with her because of Celtic Women.

    Bought a Titleist 2015 Lightweight Stand Bag at DSG. Very roomy and seems to be well built.

    Got my first eagle in over 30 years today on hole #6 at East Mountain CC in Westfield, MA. A nice 240 yard drive followed by a 155 yard six iron. Pretty darn happy!

    I was very pleased with how easy it was to get the ball air born with my Adams Tight Lies 16* fairway wood. It is probably more of a 4 wood, but the extra degree of loft, slightly shorter shaft, and shallow face make it easy to use from the fairway and light rough. And even though the head is a little small, it has a considerable amount of mass. It's a good club.
