  2. I prefer to walk when i am golfing here in Newfoundland. If I was travelling to Florida, I'd be inclined to walk if it was at all hot. Heat stroke is not fun. HB

  20. I hit a fairway once...... Seriously on this hole http://www.terranovagolf.com/golf-tr-back9-hole2.php from the whites and with the whole gang watching, I drove the back of the green with my old driver. Great shot for me, and I two putted for a par. HB

  22. Hi, In the next little while the Tour Edge Ironwoods are coming out of my bag, as I find them hard to swing with the steel shafts they came with. My driver and the 4 wood are new, and I am entirely satisfied with the 22* r7 Hybrid. I am going to get a 28* Ping G10 hybrid with a lite flex shaft to start and then G10lite shafted irons starting with the 30.5 * 6 iron. Note the gaps 4 W 17* r7 hybrid 22* Ping G10 28* I will experiment with this in the spring of course, but I think with my slow swing (80-85 mph) I don't think I'll get appreciable gaps. Has anyone else tried something like this or am I more out to lunch than usual? HB
  23. Twin Rivers golf course in Port Blandford, Newfoundland, Canada. http://www.terranovagolf.com/golf-tr.php the course is built around two Atlantic Salmon rivers, that run into an beautiful inlet. Four of the five par threes are over water, the 8th and the 18th, (Check out the small photos), are over rapids. Pure beauty. The highlight of my summer holidays is the annual Mahogany Place Open Classic which we hold every July there. HB
