  1. How's it working for you out of the bunker? Obviously, you should determine a yardage from which to play a full lob wedge (like any other club). In simplest terms, you want to be able to hit a pitch shot, a chip shot and a flop shop with the club. In my mind, those are the four bare bones lob wedge shots. There are, of course, innumerable variations on the theme.
  2. Get a lesson with a respectable instructor.
  3. Vokey spin milled, unless you're going to hotstixgolf or some such to be fitted. Pretty sure the three highest spinners are TP Y Cutter, CG 14's and the Vok Spin Milled...could be wrong though, and that is assuming one is looking for maximum spin... Regardless, Vokey Spin Milled.
  4. "Golf Fitness" is an anachronism. Specific benefits? To be sure. Improved endurance? Yeah. Necessary? Not if you don't plan on playing past 55.

    Tiger Love Fest

http://sports.espn.go.com/golf/news/story?id=4027601 I think it's called "capitalizing on a business opportunity," otherwise known as "the PGA Tour will (and should) ride Tiger as far as they can."
  6. Mineral Spirits (odorless), hook blade, double sided tape, grip of choice and preferably a vice.
  7. It's always interesting to me to look at his score cards (since you never actually see him on televised coverage). He seems to play 13 or 14 holes very well and goes AWOL on the remainder.
  8. Better than drunken myspacing or facebooking.
  9. The article on Tiger in Golf Magazine this month might give you a couple of things to work on.
  10. Preliminarily, I would say check your grip, probably need to loosen it. Probably taking the club back too far inside. Do the old 1/4 swing 1/4 follow through, trying to keep the club on line with the toe to the sky on the way back and pointing the club to the target on the way through, toe to the sky again. Maintain posture, head position. or, focus on hitting a spot 3-4 inches in front of the ball. Hope some of this helps.
  11. I'll be brief, the R9.
  12. The only thing I would say initially is that the Hibore may be going the way of the buffalo since the Launcher has been reintroduced, however that may not prove to be true. Having a driver that "looks like everyone elses" may not be at all important to you, but on the off chance that it is, I'd recommend the Burner.
  13. Unless you have some sort of an "in" with someone within the industry, I believe Ebay is the best bet.
  14. Oglivy seems to have three swings, the full swing form which he never deviates from (driver-wedge) the bump n run around the green, and a putting stroke. Obviously this is an exaggeration, point is, he's sometimes rather boring to watch (this coupled with his robotic demeanor). Good player..could contend for another major, but I'd like to see a bit more shotmaking if I was going to have confidence in that possibility.
  15. Also, those seeking to attack me personally should probably familiarize themselves with the notion of a "fallacy of relevance" more specifically, everyone's favorite, the ad homimum.
