My upper and lower body are also fighting. One day, I woke up and my swing was gone. It got so bad the other day that I started firing my hips alot earlier than usual, then made my hands speed up to catch the hips. In the process my swing returned and my hands became faster.

I suggest something forgiving, meaning that even if you don't make perfect contact on every shot, you will still have a good result-usually. You should be able to find a set of Cleveland TA-5 or TA-6 with a free stand bag at some retailers for around $399. The TA-5 was discontinued and replaced by the TA-6, but they are pretty much the same club. http://www.pga.com/improve/find-an-instructor/index.cfm I do not know of many instructional DVDs but I would probably look for one by a popular intsructor that you have heard of- David Leadbetter, Dave Pelz, etc. As far as a personal instructor, I would recommend finding one that you feel comfortable around and one you can connect with. It doesn't always have to be a head professional either. Alot of assistant professionals are also fantastic swing coaches. Good luck.
