  1. I just went Turbo Driver and 3 Halo launcher hybrids. Very pleased with all 4.
  2. I organize/run our company golf outing every year on my regular course that I played every weekend for the last 11 years. We get a lot of first timers and twice a year players come to the outing. Everyone is eligible to play since it's a work event. 3 years ago we had a first timer with rented clubs. She lost 5 balls on the first two holes. The 3rd hole is a down hill par 3 that was playing 80 yards from the ladies tee that day. She tops the ball just enough to clear the rough in front of the tee box. The ball proceeded to bounce and roll 60 yards down the hill. It gets on the green and makes a sweeping 50 ft right turn and goes in the jar for a hole-in-one. Unbelievable. 11 years there and 600 rounds and me and none of my buds have never seen or got a hole-in-one on that course. 😞
  3. I've used one for two years. it's great. the magnet is strong. I have not ever had it disconnect unintentionally. Magnet snaps back in quickly when you get it near the receiver. I pull that towel 10-15 times a round when the grass is wet and I need to lay my putter down near the green. Quality product. Highly recommend it.
  4. I got a motocaddy M1 as an Xmas present from the wife. It's been perfect. Only option is the down hill decent control which is a must have in my opinion. I've used it for 35 rounds and it has been flawless. My walking buddy liked it so much he bought one too. I have no complaints, and it is light years better than my previous push cart. I'm strong for the whole 18 holes even when it's hot out. I won't go bag to a push cart.
  5. I've gone through 3 wedge sets in the last 4 years and have had such a hard time around the greens. I used to be better. Went back to two old Scratch wedges I used before my wedge upgrades/experiments. They are 47* and 53*. Played 4 rounds with them so far and have been all over the pin from a variety of distances. Including 3 chip-ins. The are much heavier then the 3 GI wedges I went to. Can't believe I didn't figure this out sooner. It's all weight and feel for me with pitches and chips. I wasted money and my game suffered. The retro wedges are staying in the bag. Your's truly, Dopey wedge Boy
  6. Awesome, thank you Bill. I'm in CNJ also. 👍
  7. Hey Folks. I often get stuck on my back foot when hitting my golf shots. I swing a medicine ball in the gym 2-3 times a week as part of my workout, but it does not seem to help me get onto my lead leg/foot. I short, I don't finish very well. Do you know any drills or you tube vids that will help? not looking for a swing technique, but a drill I can do at home or in the gym to help ingrain the finish and get on the front side. Thx, Jer
