We can all agree that both sides did something wrong. I'm sure we would all be somewhat upset if a new club got scratched, but at the same time you can't make some customers happy. And the real point is he got a great deal and still has to come here looking for sympathy.

This guy nailed it. Both sides obviously did some wrong, with the shop trying to save some money and you being extremely OCD. As many have said, I woulda taken the loaner and asked them to throw in some accessories (tees, gloves, balls, etc...) I woulda been more than happy with that solution. Also why the need to even tell the story now that you got a ridiculously good deal getting a brand new club? Not a lot of sympathy is gonna be shed on you when you get such a great deal and then flaunt it on the forums while still portraying yourself as the victim.

Golf is obviously not the most exciting sport to watch. They can't accommodate everyone by following their favorite golfer since their are like 100 golfers every tournament. So that's why they just follow like the top 15 or so on the leader board. I would guess that mostly golf fans watch golf and a lot less casual fans than other sports attract.

Since everyone else marks theirs i don't mark mine, that way I'm the only unmarked lol. Just kidding I usually just put an arrow down the seam or something.

If I can get a good deal I prefer to use nikes, but if a less expensive option gets good reviews from various sources like srixon soft feels I usually give them a try. I will never pay big bucks for a "top-of-the-line" ball that's not on sale.

Why do people even feel the need to chew seeds or tobacco or smoke even??!!? It does nothing for your health, it's disgusting, no one likes people that do it, and it frustrates everyone around you. It's like people that litter, are they really that lazy that they can't throw stuff away in a trash can 5 feet away? Anyone that does these things should be banned from the course in my opinion or put on probation or in rehab classes or something.

After searching the web a bit I still don't think I have a complete understanding between proforce v2, TFC, prolaunch, javelin, etc...please explain what each shaft type is supposed to do for you.

They wouldn't have ridiculously low scores for the reasons already stated. That's why we should all feel good about shooting a low score on our home courses because it's probably a pretty good/legit accomplishment.

I've always wanted a taylor made driver even though I am a nike fan and the dymo str8 fit looks pretty close to the r9. But my dream set would include a taylor made driver for sure.

Multi-tones look good with shorts mostly. All black or all white look best with long pants. I definitely would like to try a pair of nike air max's or nike power play's for comfort and because they're both only like 50-60 bucks. I can't believe so many people like white/brown, that would be my least favorite.

All black is definitely the classiest looking golf shoe and if I were to play in a tournament or something, I would buy a pair of those. Right now I have a white/black pair of nikes that look good, and even though i prefer nike shoes sometimes they don't always fit well if you order them without trying them on first and some of the dressier types aren't extremely comfortable. The next pair I buy will probably be more like the air summers for maximum comfort when walking.

Those are nice and I also like the look of the VR series.

Get a ping you won't regret it, most copied putters in golf. Besides you get to be cool and go against the scotty trend.

A nice towel for looks and a second towel for actual cleaning. Most of the usual stuff: sunglasses, mini rule book, divot tools, water ball retriever, and a plastic cup to practice putting with.

If I had really expensive clubs I'd probably have them chained to my wrist or something. Seriously though I have 2 animal head covers and they work amazingly and I think they add some nice personality to the bag.

Blade putters used to be prone to twisting and unforgiving on mishits, but with today's technology its just basically just what you feel most confident using. I think the people who use mallet putters feel more confident with the extra visual aid they may offer. Personally, I like Ping blade putters and would love to have a redwood anser putter for my bag.

Tiger shows too much anger nowadays slamming his clubs down all the time, which probably causes him to lose focus and think too much. He should just try to have more fun instead of being desperate to hit a great shot every time. He does seem to struggle more during bad weather, but I guess that's what happens with most golfers.
