  2. I too thought it was ugly at first and made fun of my office partner who went out and bought one right away. Until I hit it on the range a country mile. So I stuck my tail between my legs and went and bought one. Longest driver I've ever owned...
  3. SC Newport2 for years. Just got the TM Ghost Daytona. Feels good... We'll see if it stays in the bag. SC's are hard to beat
  4. Have you looked at the "Heavy Wedges"?

It was like playing golf in Jurassic Park. Supposed to play Bethpage Black in August... we'll see...
  6. I just picked up "The Grand Slam" last weekend and look forward to starting it...
  7. The ball tracker reminds me of the first down line they started using during football games. I think it just makes it more enjoyable to watch...

  10. Kierland is a nice course. 27 holes. It is a troon course and in very good shape. It is a traditional resort course but I enjoy it... Walking Stick, also a Troon Course, is a nice layout with a linx 18 and a traditional 18. Both are in Scottsdale.
  11. I go to Sedona about 4/5 times a year. You should be able to play comfortably in January... However, some days can get chilly... If that is the case just drive 1.5 hrs south and hit a Scottsdale course - however, coming from NJ you should be in Heaven... Since Sedona is a hot tourist site it is a hit or miss on how busy it is so I don't think you can get two rounds in one day, but maybe??? Sedona Golf Resort is exceptionally beautiful and a must play at least once. Although I rarely play there because it is expensive (+/- $120 each) and the last time we played there the course was in terrible shape with punched greens. They did not tell us the greens were punched and the course was in bad shape. We went in after the round and asked for a rain check and they said NO WAY. I was pretty mad because for that kind of $$ I want a nice course to play. I would not have been as angry if they just told us about the shape of the course...! Oakcreek CC is a very nice, older, course. It is a Robert Trent Jones, Jr. course so there is high risk with high reward. I personally really enjoy playing OCC but it is kinda pricey too (+/- $120 each). There are some holes on the back 9 that are just gorgeous! About 20 miles southwest of Sedona is a little town called Cottonwood. Right outside Cottonwood is a smaller town called Cornville. There is nice little course there called Verde Santa Fe. http://www.verdesantafe.com/ this is a relatively nice course that is not nearly as expensive as the Sedona courses but it is fun to play. When I go to Sedona I predominantly play there because of the short drive and lesser cost. There is not one bunker on that course If you go there take a quick trip to a ghost town called Jerome… About 30 miles due south of Sedona is a small town called Rimrock, which is close to Montezuma's Well, a historical site. http://www.desertusa.com/mag98/aug/s...montzwell.html There is a course called Beaver Creek CC. http://www.golflink.com/golf-courses...p?course=32534 It is a small course that is in not too good of condition but still fun to play and pretty cheap. I think you will have a great time in Sedona. It really is a special place. Take in the beauty of the red rocks and take the time to go to a vortex. (maybe Bell rock) Kind of hokey but have an open mind... Let us know what you think!
  12. Ping G10's (2007) Ping Eye 2+ (1994) Ping Eye 2 (1982)
  13. Agreed... Just ordered some M/B's today from Ping. 54* and 60* I like the bigger face and how you can adjust the bounce.
  14. My wife got me a Ping G10 Driver and two dozen ProV's. Not too shabby...
  15. Welcome to the site... Hopefully this winter will be an El Nino so we can play a lot of golf in the Land of Enchantment!
  16. I'm not a big fan of either of these teams but the KU & Missouri game last Saturday was so much fun to watch that I'm really looking forward to this Saturday night game! Missouri is a fun team to watch...
  17. I have the same problem sometimes. I was thinking it may be the 10.5* but I'm not too sure. Need to go on the launch monitor and see whats up!
  18. A Ping G10 4 wood 17* with a stock graphite shaft stiff. Couple dozen Pro-V's with my initals on them. Maybe a new Ping bag?
  19. Weimaraners. Have two seven year olds. Abbie & Hunter...
  20. I chose the Ping G10. I've hit all 3 drivers listed and the Ping, to me, gave me the best results. A little biased I'm sure since I have the Rapture currently...
  21. Eye 2's. I'm getting fitted tomorrow for some G10's. However, I will never get rid of the Eye2's.
  22. I sure remember that... 33" of snow at our house in two days. I thought our roof was going to cave in. We are pretty lucky though, most years we can play every weekend of the year.
  23. I had the 905R for about a year. It came with a graphite design ys 6. I actually kind of liked the club. The sound was a little dull but that is just Titleist. I went with a Ping for more forgivness but the 905R performed like a champ when I had my A game in tune...
