my putting is also horrible and chipping as well...i average about 14-16 gir's per round, and average score about 73-78....my ball striking has been so well lately, the flat (and super lofted) guys have been letting me down :o(

I quite possibly played the most frustrating round of golf ever yesterday. I played with my roommate, his father, and a client all of which where about mid 80's to mid 90's players. I was hitting the ball so well and it seemed every time i missed the fairway it was only by a few feet, but every time i was either under a pine tree, or directly behind it. The guys i was playing with were spraying the ball everywhere and not getting in any trouble at all. In addition, I had 4 eagle putts, and 3 putted all of them, im usually a pretty decent putter. So, i ended up shooting +6, with 3 doubles cuz of pine trees, four 3 putts for pars, and a bunch of birdies and bogeys... I guess the morale of the story is, if your gunna miss the fairway, be bad enough to miss so much that your in another fairway? lol...i needed to vent..

i have 2-pw in my irons and no fairways or hybrids...for me, the look of the blade iron gives me more confidence than a hybrid....so i like my 2 iron... plus i use it when i need to hit a low punch...works great.

if you like the golf prides, check out sharpro...they make the same grips, and actually hold the patent for the dual compound cord grip. plus they are much cheaper. i got a set of 13 for 49.99 after shipping online. had them on all this year and so far so good.

i dont use any fairway woods or hybrids.. just cant hit them for some reason...i go from driver to my 2 iron (see sig)

x-stiff shaft prolly. what is your swing speed? very few casual players need an x-stiff

whoever told you that you need a new shaft to lenghthen the club is lying to you to get more money. i would be wary of wherever you are currently thinking about getting the clubs longer...

more backspin results in ballooning effect...i am not talking about anything else..comparing two balls. not swing arc's... launch angle has nothing to do with the ball either...

a masters, us open at bethpage, and pga champ. at oak hill....masters was by far the best to be at.

the x goes lower because of less spin. more backspin will loft the ball higher.

I just got an r9 460 tp from my local rep. I love it. I replaced the shaft with my pro launch red and hit it great. i love this driver. i have it 2* open and love the look at address.

Lighter fluid works too just dont smoke and do it at the same time

I just put a pro launch red stiff in my taylor made r9 460... I had the matrix xcon 5 in there and it was too light and unresponsive. i have only played 2 rounds with the pro launch but i love it so far. perfect weight for me imo. it also helped me bring down my driver trajectory which was getting too high for my liking..
