  1. it is all about confidence. if a new driver, irons, or putter gives you a lot more confidence, then it will most likely lower your scores
  2. the best way to go is just to demo a bunch of irons. for example, just because you are a scratch golfer does not mean you have to have blades
  3. the dynamic gold shafts definitely produce a lower ball flight compared to the project x. you could consider getting 6.5 flex shafts or try the x100 dynamic gold shafts
  4. nike one tour and the callaway tour i i find that especially with the nike one tour, i have a higher trajectory, more spin, and shorter distance
  5. the ball flight is similar but they are a bit harder to work the ball with. i am thinking that the dynamic gold shafts are the cause of this however, the trajectory is pretty much the same
  6. both of my scotty camerons roll fine and they have 4 degrees of loft
  7. thanks to daylight savings, i only had time to play 5 holes. i played well, shot 2-under
  8. for your swing speed i would definitely go with a regular flex. once you start getting in the 100s is when you need to think about a stiff flex
  9. the 2008 ap2 irons are amazing
  10. you might be able to find a ping carrying bag online for a discount (retail $160) to me these bags are worth it because they are very light and very simple
  11. putting is all about confidence so pick a putter that fits your eye. it should not matter what the cost of the putter is because you should buy one putter and stick with it
  12. If you have a problem of slicing the ball then the ping g10 would give you the most distance since it has a slight draw bias
  13. the head pro at my golf club tested both drivers on a launch monitor and found that the ping g10 was a longer driver. but this may have been so because of his specific swing characteristics.
  14. demo a few drivers and see what is right for you
  15. if you are only carrying the ball 215 I would reccomend a 10.5 driver. Then once your swing speed increases, you could buy a 9.5 driver again
  16. wow, with a 125mph swing speed there is no reason to be playing a stiff flex shaft. Adam Scott swings from 118-121mph and he plays an 85gram extra-stiff proforce v2 shaft.
  17. titleist 909d2 is an amazing driver. despite what the websites say, it is very forgiving
  18. titleist ap2 irons have the best feel in my opinion
  19. titleist 909 drivers are the best. i recently switched from a 9.5d3 to an 8.5d2
  20. How do you like the high launch proforce v2 compared to the normal proforce v2? Does it go much higher or farther?
  21. i disagree. first of all, the ping g10 is much longer than the rapture and secondly, titleist drivers tend to go a tad bit shorter than other drivers

Im 16. Its nice to know there are some other 16 year olds on this sight too.
  23. I have found hitting the inside of the ball helps create more of a draw. However, the best thing to do is put a tee infront of the ball and behind it (to make a line inside to out) Then try to swing over these tees while hitting the ball; this should help you get out of that fade swing
  24. tempo, swing plane, turns, and position at impact are the most important parts of the swing
  25. the 5 piece golf ball sounds good but the bridgestone b330s is the best golf ball on the market right now. the only reason why provs are number one on tour is because the titleist golf balls that the pros get are different from the ones we buy at pro shops.
