  1. Not been on here for a while, current bag played last year and for this year. Clubs in sig, 18 handicap and Play at Newport Golf Club.
  2. OK guys not posted on this for a long time on this, I have found regular exercise and stretching helps big time, but a breakthrough has been a foam roller :) Get one of these http://www.amazon.co.uk/66Fit-Elite-Foam-Roller--Blue/dp/B002IKO2YU/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid;=1400840923&sr;=8-2&keywords;=foam+roller and then do this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K6YpH4iAQQo&index;=10&list;=FLoKfvP8h88_tu-eV7k3kTEA Do it every day and you will be amazed with how it fee's you up, like a deep physio massage or trigger point :)
  3. Major bag overhall for me for 2014. All PING :) See Sig for details Hope you like.
  4. Update on mine from over a two year period of on and off pain with this. Currently oplaying 1-2 times a week with mild pain on and off. Originally thought to be the joint in the back causing the nerve to pinch and radiate pain around to the front right hand side. Physio helped a lot with this and I can perform certain release techniques on myself with some success. But now after seeing another doctor it is thought to be "slippy rib syndrome" So looks like I injured a rib muscle (golfing) and as a result the injured muscle is stretched allowing the rib to slip now and then, the pain is in right centre of ribs, I also now get some pain in center of chest as well that I can feel as tightness and this sometimes goes right through to the back (hence my revisit to doctors to make sure it as not anything serious) as well an inflamed sternum that clicks when I press it, so I am schedule to see a specialist again and see what he recommends. At the moment it only flares up real bad when I am doing heavy practice (every day at the moment breaking in a new swing) but trying to swing within my self and in a different setup position seems to be helping, maybe my old swing was in such bad shape it was putting unneeded stress on my right side? (had a lot of swaying movement in backswing) Anyway as said only true way is lots of rest, but I will update with what the doc says. Stick with it guys :)
  5. Standard GP TV 58 Round on all of my clubs (bar putter) feel is great driver through wedges
  6. Looking good, did you take a pic of the 52s with no paint fill? meant to look real nice that way. I did this to my Mizuno wedges in the same colour scheme back in March, I have the MPT-11s now though and they are blue and white so no need to change them http://thesandtrap.com/t/44481/mizuno-mp-t10-wedge-custom-paint#post_581196
  7. Could not have put it better my self
  8. Not wanting to defend what Daly did hitting all his balls into the water and walking off, but these loud mouth fools did not do him any favours "hooraying" every time he dumped one in the Lake! Not golf spectator behaviour IMO
  9. Agree 100% What you describe and the length of time and pain level sounds like a possible rib fracture or tear in the muscles? Go see another doctor and get some x rays or MRI done, or pay to go see a good physio first
  10. I was like this when I first hit a Mizuno iron, MP52s and it blew me away. I play the MP53s now with the KBS FST Tour shaft and loved them so much I got the MP-T11 with the KBS HiRev in
  11. I use mine quite a lot We have mostly 200 yard Par 3s on my courses off the comp tees and that is a 4 iron for me. I also use it on shorter par 4s off the tee, as well as off the fairway on long par4s and tight par5s.
  12. Just started our Winter league and it finishes in Feb next year, so will be playing right the way through unless the course is closed due to heavy snow :)
  13. Don't overlook the Mizuno JPX 800, I was struggling with my Nike Sumo and got a Mizuno one, it is very forgiving and long. So good I got the driver to match
  14. Yep I wear an Under Armour long sleeve top, with a normal golf polo and sleeveless jumper OR long sleeved jumper depending on how cold it is. It makes a big difference and has a slight turtle neck as well to keep the wind out. If it is real windy I will put my waterproof trousers over my normal golf trousers also. This is the one I have, although I look nowt like this
  15. Looks good but I would swap the 9 and PW over and it will be perfect
  16. LOL glad I am not the only one If I am playing badly, I drop the driver after a bad tee shot sometimes, get angry with my self and moan and talk to myself a lot and discuss what if this and what if that with my playing partner I must drive him nuts, but I am miles better now than I used to be and really try to be calm and accept I am shite most of the time... If I am playing well though I am OK
  17. I had Adidas 360 3.0 and thought they were the best shoes I had worn for golf (had Callaway & Footjoy) then I gave these a try and am getting another pair in Black for winter Nike Lunar Control These are like slippers, very stable and for a white shoe easy to clean, plus the spikes (unlike the Adidas ones) are easy to come by
  18. Well I voted "like to sort things out myself" but one thing I have learnt this season after climbing from 14.1 to 14.9 is that I can't fix my self! I finally swallowed my pride and had 1 lesson for £20 that identified my issue's (balance and timing) and two weeks later with minimal practice and two rounds of 18, I am on my way back to lower scores. I will now never try and self fix again. I guess I was lucky in that widening my stance along with staying over the ball and not swaying on back swing, were non intrusive changes (as in no grip, swing change) and I got a Pro who identified these issue and did not rip me apart and try and build the perfect swing, helped though.
  19. No, but then they would have been talking about the golf course and tournament when they were asked "how are you finding Hilton Head" by the interviewer and not trying to be clever by saying "oh yeah its great we did a bunch of stuff on that island where the natives used to live" not that he was asked a question about local knowledge anyway. All I am saying is that why start rambling about stuff that he was not asked about by the interviewer, when clearly he was being asked about his round and golf and not if he missed home or what sight seeing he had done.
  20. Ref Dustin, Yeah the eye's tell everything, what a stupid statement to make. Ref Bubba, Well I would not have expected anything else from a "there is nothing outside the USA" person, oh yeah he is being paid to play golf so just walk around bitching and making stupid comments, refuse to share a car as he should have his own, as for France I would not expect him to know anything about the place as it does not matter does it, it is not in the USA
  21. Fair enough
  22. Give me a break, I see some crap posted on this site but that is no excuse for how he has acted, ADD or not. He is a professional and should act that way, not sharing a car with another Euro player because he wanted his own! superstar or not it sounds like he is up his own ass “do you know who I think I am” and all that…. As for Johnson I am sure he knows where he when in Europe (not playing in France) is and his conduct has been impeccable on the Euro Tour events he has played, gaining him much respect and many fans here in Europe. He has been the ambassador for American golf that Bubba has not.
  23. Srixon Distance (about £10 a box in the UK) give them a go
  24. Well I have not seen a Mizzy bag on this post yet? I am using this and it is silly light! Mizuno Aerolite 2011
