  2. Yes. But I workout constantly and I'm a big guy. Plus my swing is designed to hit the ball straight. Strength+Swing design= Long straight shots(Most of the time ;))
  3. Square Lag Flop. Easiest way to do it. And yes, it spins back.
  4. This is a question I've always wanted answered. What does spining and aligning have to do with the performance of a shaft?

  7. Um. What am I? Snap or sweep? I don't know what stats you guys need, So i'll just post any stats I feel are relevant because I can't post videos. X stiff shaft Lot's of lag. Close to a 110 degree angle Fast tempo Big divots High ball flight(REALLY high. But flat) Lots of spin I hold my wrist angle for a good while. Longer than most of my friends do. I think I'm a snap release? Not sure? Opinions?
  8. I play the KBS shafts as well. I'm EXTREMELY negative coming into the ball, so everything was low. I LOVE the KBS. I gained 30 yards. No lie.

  11. Ok... Question. I have an x stiff Aldila DVS in my driver. It's tour issue. Is a tour issue shaft any different than a retail shaft? If so, how?
  12. I've tried all of them. Great putters, but I don't like center shafts. Like center shafts? Get it.
  13. I hope so. Haha. It hurts really bad when I lock my knee.(Has almost no cartridge in his right knee)
  14. This formula is the formula for shooting under par and it WORKS. I PROMISE. When you're on the tee think Hit the fairway. When you're in the fairway think Hit the green When you're on the green think Make the putt. Hit the fairway Hit the green Make the putt. Problem solved.
  15. I would like to stress something. Never swing as hard as you can. I'm sure you know this, but if you don't, you'll find you'll hit more greens. I can push a PW up to 160. Will I ever do it? Rarely. I'm fine hitting a 9 or 8 that far. The smoother the swing, the lower the score. Like AK said; If I have to hit a 5 instead of a 6, I'm fine with that. So what gets the ball in the hole faster. Any way necessary.
  16. I will say this. It is possible to swing without straightening the knee. I had to do it one time. Stuck in between a thorn bush and a tree. If I straightened my knee, I'd get a nice rip in my pants. So, You CAN do it. But it's not a good idea, IMO
  17. You guys are lucky. In TN, you can't use rangefinders in highschool matches or in TGA tourneys. :(
  18. You're a lefty? Well. Tilt your shoulders away from the target, but don't put more weight(at least don't do it intentionally) on your back foot. That helps me a lot.

My knee straightens slightly. I'm sure Erik's does. Phil Mickelson's does. Tiger's does. VIJAY's does. Jack's does. You're great great great great grandfather twice removed's did. Get over it. Stop trolling.
  20. My coach has put me through several swing changes. Haha. Switching from a 1 plane swing to a 2 plane swing, making the grip and setup neutral, relaxing right elbow even more than normal(which is a good bit), firing my hips more(which is also a LOT), working on flexibility(I want a little more than a 90 degree turn), And working on my mental game. Why? So I get on Tour that much faster. :D Haha. How I'm doing it? Hitting a bucket of 150 balls focusing on one aspect, and then more buckets focusing on the other aspects. But each bucket is dedicated to focusing on ONE aspect.
  21. By some wiffle(sp?) or kamen balls? Work great for me when I've been injured and need to swing so I don't get rusty.
  22. I can. Go to youtube. Type in Tiger Woods. Or Phil Mickelson. Whoever your favorite golfer is. Watch what their knees do. It will be bent at address, straighten SLIGHTLY, and then boom. The ball is gone.
  23. ^^^^ That's the BEST idea when you're torn between two sets.
  24. Been playing for three years. Close to a scratch handicap. Lots. And lots. And lots. Of practice. Wiffle balls become your best friend after a while. Especially in winter. haha.
  25. The right knee HAS to straighten(to an extent) for most people. It actually hurts my knee to try and keep it in the SAME position the entire time. It'll straighten, but you shouldn't lock it.
