  1. No........... he's been a great front runner. He's mailed a few in over the years.

    2010 Ryder Cup

Nobody from the Europe should be on here preaching about sports etiquette when they have roving soccer/football gangs going around beating people down before and after matches. Been there and seen it up close.
  3. Why cant people just say that we got beat instead of finding blame. The Euro's smoked us in team play ..... and we ended up making it close in singles. I feel bad for Hunter, because I know what choking feels like. Congrats to the European team. Kudo's to Ricky and Overtone as well, especially since I figured them to be the achilles heel.

Overton ......... man o man, my gut feeling about this guys was soooooo wrong. This guy is a Ryder Cupper!

Why dont you keep your smug anti capitalist comments to a Irish/British golf forum. It is pretty ignorant to lump all americans into one catagory.
  6. Just like every time they update a golf ball. For the past 30 years, each new ball has been hailed 5 yards longer. If the advertisements were true.....we wouldnt need any troops in Iraq or Afghanistan. We could bomb the bad guys from our local muni.
  7. Agree..... The Ryder Cup is a virtual cash cow. But at least it has more meaning than a pointless Fedex Cup. Nobody is going to give shit who won the Fedex 5 years from now, but people still rant or cheer about past Ryder Cups.
  8. Although 2 different bodies, they get together and discuss these things. The Fedex cup has everything to do with it. Money and politics will win out over tradition every time these days.
  9. It doesnt help matters either that the Fedex cup has pushed the Ryder Cup into October. The UK is not exactly Palm Springs during this time of year. Huge brain fart in my opinion.
  10. Revealing you're age pards. ;)

    Phil Phil Phil........... geeees
  12. You are damn right I do........ and gladly . I spend considerable time with customers doing charities, events, and golf outings. They send work my way for home repairs, and I make a decent living. If a pro doesnt take the time to give a some kids a few autographs..... he is only hurting his sport. Any pro who does not appreciate the people who put money in his pocket is totally selfish. I am not speaking of Ernie either, I am talking about Pro's in general.
  13. I would not expect a pro to sign autographs before a round, but it would be nice if all of them took 15-20 minutes after a round to aknowledge the fans. There are alot of them that seem to forget where thier money comes from. Some of the shit heads need to spend a day with Richard Petty. No fans......... no PGA tour.

My 3 Labs always wake me up right to ge pee right about the starting time. LOL
  15. We did have a bit of the British Soccer mentality that day. Cheerio !
  16. As a 20 year sailor with most of his time spent on AMPHIBS........... welcome aboard! I always liked it when the Marines came aboard, because the ship seemed to liven up some. USS-Barnstable County LST-1197 USS-Spartanburg County LST-1192 USS-Inchon LPH-12
  17. Trees are planted on golf courses to artifficially raise handicaps. Trust me.......... you can google it.

You seem to forget that the "WAR BY THE SHORE" was started in the UK by the tabloids. The americans just reversed the humor and ran with it. Pavin is not the devil that you make him out to be.
  19. There is plenty of "over the top" from both sides on occasion. Belfry ring a bell?
  20. The shaft eventually breaks down. Graphite shafts are made up of layers of various fibers and resin. These fibers are very brittle and will break apart over time. The break down happens much faster near the kick/bend point of the shaft. This will affect ball flight due to the kick and torque value change. The usual indication is a flight that seems some what lower and erratic. In other words.......... the shaft is dying. C.O.R. changes very little over the life of a driver.....especially with titanium clubs.
  21. Are you kidding Zeph? Length and lie are both critical to any golfer regardless.
  22. He probably hasnt had any for a few months now? Just a thought.
  23. Phil looks out of sorts with the tight shirts and big wide white belts. He doesnt have the build for that style of clothing.
  24. Soft enough for most players. But you can still swing aggressive with them and not have a torque problem.
  25. Thats why I gave up my Tourney's............. I finally realized that Jack isnt on tour anymore.
