First of all, Grayhawk is a pretty dang hard course and I guarantee it's even harder from the tips. But I think you do actually have a chance, think of all the times you miss a putt then re-hit it and nail it center cup. That 2nd guy is always better, kick his butt!

At a tournament this week there was a hole that demanded a straight shot or a fade. With my draw (that occasionally wants to hook) it was trouble since there was a hazard on the right. I was something like 4 or 5 over on this single hole after the 2 day tournament which obviously is trouble. I'm going to start practicing on the range..

I shot my new PR today with a 75 at my home course that I hadn't broken 80 on yet. Good day for me :)

I shot 85 in the second day of the Missouri Junior Am with 3 TRIPLES!! Not very happy with my performance.

83 today in the Missouri Junior Amateur, was hoping for a better score especially with 11 GIR's. Another round tomorrow. 10 kids shot under par at this tournament and one even shot 67!!

I'm sure he will. My brother and I did summer golf camps when we were around that age and even if it didn't make us great golfers we understood the rules and etiquette of the game. Plus, it was fun!

I play 18 holes pretty much every other day and both weekend days. When I'm not not playing I'm practicing, and my handicap has gone down from like 10ish in March to what it is now.

Yeah we use the site, one time my dad accidentally posted my score on his name and he had to call the course to fix it. I'm pretty sure they took care of it haha

Yeah I don't get why pro's take off their hats to shake hands at the end of a round, I don't do that. I think it looks silly, especially when they have ridiculous tan lines and when they fumble around with their sunglasses that were on top of the hat.

How important is it to learn to shape the ball consistently? (this question is more for lower hdcps) I play a little draw that normally looks pretty, but sometimes I would like to be able to hit a high cut, do I need this shot and if so how would I hit it?
