  1. I guess if you like looking ridiculous with shorts and a dress shirt and golf shoes but most people i know wear long pants. I saw a guy with a brigh pink shirt, popped collar, checkered short's and his hat turned around backwards with sunglasses on. The most riduculous looking human i have seen since the 80's.
  2. they don't come with headcovers so your covers aren't stock
  3. Ted? How did you get out of prison? I figured that unibomber thing was a life sentence for sure! You have a putting green outside that cabin now or what? Probably alot of room to hit balls.

    Tiger's Back

LOL he got bigger because he is narrcacistic and wants to pull hot chicks. The guy is upset because his calfs are too small....his calfs...too small...lmao it had nothing to do with golf fellas as he was more dominant and longer when skinny. And to the idea that he was trying to prevent injury well if you add weight to a frame with small bones like he clearly has then you are causing more damage, not preventing it. Notice his injuries became prevalent around the same time.
  5. 690cb aren't blades hence the cb. They are cavity backs. The 690mb are blades
  6. A low running flight with your irons? That's no good imo.
  7. If he gets any type of advantage it will quickly be banned so why bother?
  8. Duval, the biggest bust of all time, was laughing?
  9. Another vote for the g15.
  10. For me i like sean foleys swing theory, which is basically don't shift to your right side but don't tilt and straighten the right leg either. Just stay 55 45 and shift it all forward on the downswing rather than loading on the backswing.
  11. I agree that it is a douchbag type of thing to do however I think it works for some people. Like some have said you can't make blanket statements but you can say this is generally how it is and extrapolate what you can from it. If it doesn't apply to you then fine, i just thin people take offense because it sort of smacks em in the face. Like the expression sweatin like a ••••• in church! noone wants to be told they are wrong but if you solicit opinions then that is what you get and you need to be objective and understand that what you think is happening isn't. You also need to understand that if you have a natural talent and see dramatic improvements over a short period of time then don't take the criticisms to heart because they don't concern you.
  12. Don't feed the troll!!!!!
  13. I never mntioned you. You asked why low cappers think high cappers are delusional and i tld you why. Right or wrong had nothing to do with it i just told you their reasoning. I am a 10 on a 7200 yard course from the tips that is a notorious ball eater. I won't play handicap tournaments because they put me on the members tees or if i play an easy course because i can shoot par from there relatively easily yet i never play from there. That is how sandbaggers play and it isn't fair. Also as far as open mindedness goes you have need to look at yourself and think well these guys (not me) have seen alot and know how people progress and i promise you that if you are a mid to high capper and think you are a tip away from greatness or think you should game blades to help you "work the ball" (read hit huge hooks and slices that end up ob if you don't turn it enough) then you are delusional and need to understand this fact to allow you to move on. Therapist get payed alot of money to tell people they are rediculous yet you get it here for free! lol You would get fired as a teacher because kids are fragile. Adults however are stubborn and will not accept hints or suggestions and need to be told straight. Again therapy is founded on this principal. If you are not one of those people then why take offense to it? Do you think we should just let people flail away in their delusions until they finally realize on their own what is being bandied about here now? If so then why bother teaching, just let em figure it out or be blissfully ignorant for the rest of their life. But you don't do you, you criticize them as harshly as anyone on here criticizes anyone else, you give them a grade. Grades have been the source for countless suicides you know. Advice is free and like I said if it doesn't apply to you then why get offended? Love for your fellow man? LOL
  14. Low cappers know you are delusional because they were there at one point as well, flippin away thinking that they were hitting "pure" shots but just had low swing speed. A great ball striker compresses the ball and if you don't then you aren't a great ball striker. That is why distance is a barometer, because it lets people know the quality of your shot. However you can compress a ball from 30 yards out and if you compress the ball but are really just a slow swinger then you would be very accurate and a relativel low capper. I know a high capper isn't hitting quality shots if he is short with his irons because, according to his handicap, he isn't accurate. I have never met anyone who hits quality shots but doesn't putt and chip/pitch well enough to break 80 let alone 90. Sorry but if you are a 2o capper who thinks they hit "quality" shots you are delusional. Same as the guys who think they can "hit" blades because they can consistently get them in the air and move em both ways without taking into consideration that they are actually hitting weak hooks and slices not quality soft draws and fades. If you have to start your ball off the green to play your fade/draw then you shouldn't be gaming blades.
  15. High handicappers who can consistently get the ball in the air think they are great ball strikers. That is the problem, they don't know what real ball striking is. They just think they are putting a smooth swing on it and thats why they only hit their 7 iron 140. It's not though, it's because they aren't making good contact (usually its the dreaded flip).
  16. delofting the club opens it up so you either have to turn more to square it up or take it back a little shut, remember if it goes dead right its because the face was wide open and you have to counter that.
  17. Poor ryan moore lol i like the guy but his swing looks about the same as the clothes he wears, offbeat. For some reason he has become super inconsistent, guess he shot his load in college golf because he dominated there. Really i just hate how he looks like a dog squatting to take a crap then shoves the club down between his knees. The actual swing is ok but that setup, wow.
  18. You could just clock your diablo open and save a few hundred bux!
  19. You gotta turn! You are lettin your arms outrace your body. Feel kinda like your draggin the handle in front of the head all the way through the swing. You won't be able to do it but that is the feel you need and you will develop a consistent release that way. Works with all clubs and most shots aside from splash unker or fairway bunker shots.
  20. You don't think kenny Perry, who pounds the crap out of the ball, could carry 260?

    Tiger's Back

You seriously think they don't curse in other sports? You are sadly mistaken. Someone once said to Fred Couples after he knocked one stiff on the hole after a 3 putt "bet you don't 3 jack that!" His response was "anythings fu**ing possible." Get a clue. Oh and Magic has aids and his wife doesn't so what does that tell ya? The press are the scum of the earth why would you care about them?

    Tiger's Back

Yeah i bet you watch all the spelling bees and math contests huh? If you don't like emotion you aren't a sports fan, end of discussion because its like that in ALL sports. Its the whole reason to play to get that high from a great shot, etc. Why in the world do you play?
  23. I see guys all the time just running through balls for no reason or working on something rediculous like hitting a "draw" (30 yard hooks in reality). You need to have a plan and educate yourself on what type of playable shots you should be trying to hit. Hint: a 30 yard hook or cut ain't it
  24. Doesn't have to be a crack, the face cane cave in. Faces have a bulge in the niddle of the club so when you look ate the face from the bottom side view style it ill be shaped like this ( from sude to side although not nearly that drastic. If the face flattens then the club is dead.
  25. If you have to think about the things you need to get right then your handicap is pretty accurate at 20. Thats when you sort of know what to do but have fubdamental flaws you don't realize you have (flipping, tempo, etc) but because you occasionally "time" your flip or get the right temo you think you would be great once you can repeat it. Once you can swing without any swing thoughts and hit the ball solidly but not always in the right direction or with the right flight, then you will be "close". But bad shots 2/3 of the time is still hacker town no matter how good the 1/3 shot is. Get lessons to find the flaw that is causing the trouble because its certainly not that you are doing something slightly wrong. Ben hogan said he only hit 4 great shots a round, meaning he "slightly" mishit all of his other ones, how did he play so good if he didn't hit every shot perfect? He didn't have any fundamental flaws. Oh and btw being a pro golfer is far from being a golf pro, they usually have no clue how to analyze another swing as they are analyzing their own by feel and have no idea how your swing feels.
