Nice typical responses. Karma, you cant say that seriously.... Which player did Horton give a severe concussion to again? The Ryder hit on Jones is debatable do you watch alot of hockey? Because most people ruled it incidental contact which is what it seems like. Ryder barely ever throws a body check so why would he go so far out of his way to throw such an obvious interference? Why would the Ref's rule it incidental if it was an obvious cheapshot. Answer is that it was not. I really love the strong Bruins hate. Because Boston had been class in this series up until last game when they finally struck back and now all you hear from people is WAHHHWAHH. Who's Career has Lucic ended? Aside from MaxPac a hit which I didnt love but do think it was a standard rub out play that Chara does every game, I must've missed his numerous cheapshots because I dont remember them.

Driver + 7i + 60 or 56* flip the wedge around and use the back of it to putt with.

In the career before you select to start the tournament you can do a "training challenge" and a "sponsor challenge" this is the first training challenge on the first event of the AM Tour. -

I just got this game... I know way behind the times. But I wait till these things go on sale. Anyway, how do I beat the first challenge against that guy in match play? Ive shot a birdy-par-par-birdy-par and lost. He never misses a putt and always averages 1 putt per green. How do you beat that? -
They touted team themselves as a classy team. But when you have players like Torres-Oreo-Burrows-Lapdog making a mockery of the game by biting people and taunting them I just dont get it. At least bruins fans admit that the team is big and mean and revel in players like Lucic Chara and Horton who play with that edge.
-
Another thing. When 3 of your first line stars go down over the course of 3 years due to blatant cheapshots.. Bruins fans should get a bit of a pass when emotionally overreacting to this stuff. Just saying.
-
I know I do. But is what I'm saying not true? Nuck's fans just dont like to hear anything back but coudlnt stop touting how classy they were as a team before the series started, then proceeded to bite, mock and cheapshot the bruins until the beast within finally woke up.

The canucks were running scared like little girls all last night after the horton cheapshot. Burrows and Lapierre must be the biggest sissies in the entire league just disgusting.. "oh no stop Mr. Big mean Lucic" "Oh wait ref is here" *tries punching lucic in the back of the head*

I feel your pain. I onetime was stuck behind 2 mothers and their 3 kids at a 9 hole course. Normally when I see kids this young probably 5-6 years old on the course they play best ball with the parent and its fine they move along quickly. However these 2 women were just as bad as the kids and it probably woudlnt have gone any better. I mean does the 5 year old who hits it at best maybe 20 yards need to tee off from the whites with you on a 420 yard hole? They then let the kids hit every single shot and stood around and talked, im talking like 35minutes a hole. After about 15 minutes of watching I jogged up (no carts here) and asked to play through and they legit got mad at me. Asked why I couldnt wait or something and didnt instruct the kids to pick up or move on faster just cold shouldered me completely. Then I told them that you know this is what the driving range is for. We jumped ahead of them on the next hole and when we were having a beer in the bar afterwards they came in and reported us for being mean or somethng, but the starter didnt take it seriously at all. The kids seemed nice its to bad that nobody teaches these jerk parents a lesson before they pass it on to their kids. I also cant stand the kids at the driving range who get 0 instruction from their parents and hit every single ball off the divider or into their pile of balls and send them shooting everywhere. How can I concentrate when your little terror is making more noise then bull in a china shop while you 100% ignore them.

That doesnt even make sense haha

^^^^ Brutal I had to facepalm yesterday. Went to a course I had never played before and the starter gives us like a 15 minute breakdown of the course basically saying dont miss left on the first 4 and dont miss right on the last 5. He then asks if we ever played golf before and we told him we play alot and we were playing the blues. This is like a deathmark because of course both of us chunk the shot all of 15yds ona 150yd par 3 and

Yeah *sigh* Ill just always see that mark and think"DOH!" Worst part is the reason so many spots were full was there was about 15 Highschool kids goofin around and taking up all the spots. Worst range trip ever, i even had to dodge a ball that someone hit off the divider and sent it right for me. Then I saw about 2 other people's driver heads go flying down range. maybe it was just not a good day.
-
True hence the question. Just is it reasonable or not to put a stall in where a 5'9 person would not be able to swing a driver without so much as a warning?
-
I was at the range this week when the only available spot was right next to the wall of the covered section of tee's. I took a few practice swings and didnt think I was coming very close to the wall so on my first full driver swing I managed to catch the wall on my backswing and put a nice ugly mark on the bottom of the crown of my driver on the follow through. I got to this range alot and buy the 65$ for 100$ worth of balls cards all the time. I wanted to say something as its a pretty "new to me" driver and the mark is fugly. My swing isnt very bad and I had the matt moved as far away from the wall as possible. The range has a proshop do you think I could get them to buff out the mark if possible for free? Im asking because it seems the squeezed in this extra stall and this would not of happened if their had been an appropriate amount of room.

Im sure your daughters embarrass groups of guys on the course all the time. I wish I had started younger too bad my father and I didnt start golfing till I was 21 and after about 2 weeks of playing I was allready better than him haha. Didnt get much instruction out of him and now Im the one feeding him tips (and I can tell he hates it)... Gratz on the Eagle as well. Ive had 3 chances on Par 5's this year one was I got on the green in 2 and 2 putt'd the other was fringe in 2 and skulled my chip. Im looking for that first ever eagle I get so excited when I get a chance at one that I just freeze up mentally. I cant imagine going for it with a crowd GJ.

If your a group of begginners trying to the learn the game and this situation pops up you coulds always suggest that you play best ball. You all hit a ball but you all take a drop wherever the person who hit the best ball out of the group ended up. This should have even a group of 4 begginners shooting 4-5's on mostly all the holes. Its also good for your confidence as you dont have to dwell on every bad hit and can move up and play from a more desirable position.

Use brass brush to scrape out all the groves. Then polish with towel+glass cleaner. Wipe off grips paper towel+water. Should I not use glass cleaner?

Learn the feel of a good shot. When I first started I would hit the range and feel like my iron shots were all good. On the course I hit every shot fat or chunked it completely. If you feel yourself hitting the matt first thats not good, learn the feel a crips struck pure shot and focus on that at the range not just whether or not the ball had good flight.

You have something I want very, very badly. Sounds like you have the space you should look into growing a real green that you can putt on. You should be able to find a pushreel green mower for around 100$ and its well worth it.
-
I agree with most here. To break 80 your putting needs to be wayyyy better. But for that to matter you need to be getting GIR and FIR #'s much higher. Then for that to matter you also need distance on the FIR shots. Also playing 18 every single day would get really really boring IMO. I find that my best rounds come when I dont actually play a round for a week or so but spend alot of time at the range and practice greens. The feeling of complacency that you get from playing everyday will be one of your biggest enemies on this voyage. Good luck though.
-
Haha wasn't you... RIGHT?? No need to apologize for him haha. Best part was when I went to get a beer and the Pro in the shop goes "You playing with him" I just kind of grunt and he rolls his eyes and we start dying laughing.

Got paired up with probably the biggest jerk I've ever played with this weekend. On a par4 I chip my 4th shot on to about 5ft and this guy picks it up and throws it back to me. I "whats his problem"..... I have a par putt on a par 4 from about 45 feet, its rolling about 8ft past the hole and he STOPS IT!!!! I hit a shot over the water on a 200yd par 3, its not a great hit and is slicing pretty bad but I see it land and bounce up onto the next tee which was close to the green. He insists I went in the water and that I had to hit another one. I said I saw it and talks smack to me "Yeah what'd it bounce on the waves its in the water kid". I drive up and theres my ball on the next tee and I .... I could just keep going on with about this guy but I think the biggest facepalm of all was when we hit the turn. The person riding with him was another single that got paired up with me my friend and the jerk(who was a single).. The non-jerk single was only playing nine and says goodbye to me and my friend and starts to walk away. Just at this time a group of 10-13 year old girls who were just riding around on carts (im assuming daughters of the pro and her friends) is driving by. The jerk thumbs them down (awkward) then he says "Drive me to the clubhouse to get a beer" even though he was already in a cart. He then see's his playing partner walking to the parking lot and says "Where you going?" the kid informs him he is leaving and the guy on a cart with 10 year old girls yells out "Ok you Kitty(But he didnt say kitty)" HUGE

Playing a 27 hole course a few days ago. We were on the 9 we hadnt played more than 1-2x ever just because its the back 9 of the 18 hole course and we never play 1 8 here. Anyway we play the first hole and I shot an 8 on a par 4 . Then we go to drive to the next hole and the path splits in like 5 directions. The next hole was a 150 yd par3 so we pull up to a 150 yard par3. I top it into the water and get a 5, my friend pars it. Then when we go to move on we realize that we just played the 7th hole of a different course and have to drive back around and it took us like 5 mins to find the right hole. We get there and I hit the green and get a Par my friend gets a 5 and then he ... Haha worked out well for me I guess though lol!

lol. I had one worse a few weeks ago I was playing anew course with a buddy of mine. It was built into old cranberry bogs and was confusing just getting around. We also drank a 750ml of Dr. McGillicuddy. On a par 4 we literally couldnt tell which green we were suppose to hit to so I hit my drive at the one I thought it was... Turns out I was wrong and had to hit like a 220yd second shot on a 315 yard par 4. I
