  1. i usually fall to the toes, i slowed my tempo way down last night at the range, it helped me to get a feel for maintaining my balance, i will try and get that video up asap, thanks for the advice!
  2. thanks guys!
  3. im having trouble keeping balanced at the end of my follow through......any pointers???
  4. what do you guys and gals think about having those evening tee times....like 3:00 ish........do you think its an advantage or disadvantage to have to sit and wait to get on the course vs waking up and heading right for the golf course first thing???
  5. wow sorry to hear that, Good luck on a speedy recovery
  6. now thats what i call getting a "FEEL" for your swing!!! absolutley not neccesary
  7. haha i was waiting for you say he told you that happens to be the exact same mark he uses to distinguish his balls! what a piece of work, isent this a gentleman's game???? my grandfather taught me how to act on the golf course before he taught me how to play on the course!!!!!!!!!
  8. i was watching this earlier today! pretty amazing
  9. Bingo Bango Bongo, and skins is always fun!
  10. Warm ups are great if you have to do so with out having to sprint to the tee, but stretching is crucial for me!!!! i like to feel as if i have already played a few holes when im on the first tee box.
  11. your are also using new muscles in your hand that may not have seen a strain similar to hitting a bucket of balls..........if after awhile the soreness is still there then u need to fix your grip like alomar123 says.......
  12. the company i worked for decided to expand internationally about 4 years ago, i moved over to help out, was only posed to be here for 1 year, but i love it here and am now pushing my 5th year!!! and yes they have some exceptional golf here!! there is a Gary Player course very near me, and several others less than an hour away....the neat thing about playing golf here is that no matter what course you play, you are assigned your own personal caddy.... at first i thought to my self " im gunna hate this, 12 years of golfing and ive never had a caddy, i dont need no stinkin' caddy!!!" boy was i wrong the guys/gals are exellent! within a few holes they got you pegged for club seletion and they know the greens like no1's business!!! needless to say i really enjoy golfing here!
  13. wow small world man, i grew up there! and my family still lives there, i currently live in China, been here for 4 years.....still make it home 2 or 3 times a year!!!
  14. My driver pre shot routine is the same as my irons,pitch/chip,put.......step back be hind the the ball pick your target, before i adress the ball i visualize the balls path the to hole....(close ur eyes if it helps you see your ideal ball path) the adress the ball and take my swing remembering to breathe the whole time....... i know its easy to play quikly when your not doing so well, but thats when you really need to slow down and make each stroke count! because they do!!!
  15. anytime spencer! what area of houston do u play in? i play in the Humble and Woodlands area....
  16. I agree with mdbuschsr. just get urself a small bucket and just focus on rhythm and balance, 3/4 speed till ur hitting them straight consistently and then go full speed but maintain that rhythm and balance! hope this helps
