I recently watched the S&T; videos and found it quite logical, in fact i was already having succes with a somewhat centered swing. The one element that i found strange was the Flying Wegde. Why do you need to keep that stiff wierd arm after impact like a chip? I recorded my swing before i started watching the S&T; video. The swing is in my garden and i have not hit a ball for 4 month, yet you can still see that after impact i flip my quite fast i think. I am going to record a decent video once the temperature gets to 5+ Why is it wrong to hit the ball at impact without changing the wrist angle but but still flip the wrist after impact? info: the swing is recorded in slow motion

I improved my distance a lot last summer by learning about lag. I got so tired of my friends hitting their wedges when i had my 9 iron up I started doing Crossfit also which increased my strength.

The shortest of super short chip shots
Colding replied to Robato's topic in Instruction and Playing Tips
i struggled with this short shot too but after watching Phil's short game DVD i have full confidence in this shot The thing is i was easing in to the ball often hitting it very bad. I got so bad that i started only using my 8 iron hitting pump and now. Now i am back with the 60' wegde hitting this very easy shot again :) I think the key is to hit it aggressive! Search on youtube for Phil Mickelson hidge and hold. You dont even need to buy his product the technique is very simple. -
Anyone have experience in buying refurbished balls who approve of the quality? These once looks really good, at a good price: http://www.direct-golf.co.uk/relatedproduct/p11640?Bingo=Bongo&TrackCode;=3a58e767 Cheers,

How Many Sets of Irons Do You Have? What Are They?
Colding replied to Mr.Mongo's topic in Clubs, Grips, Shafts, Fitting
Why on earth do you guys have so many golf sets. I understand having two, but 12?:) -
Thanks for the answer. Hehe they are not, only 1 season old. I just left my clubs in the garrage and right now its -10 and night and was wondering if it´s healthy for them to stay there. It is gonna be 3 more month before i come home. I am Currently in Brazil, hello 35 degrees :)
-
Do you think it is a problem to have your clubs standing in minus degrees. Right now i put them in the garrage which is dry but often very cold.
-
Your back swing looks very tense, i would try to let it slide more. Just let the club works its way around you don't need to stop your swing so fast after you hit the ball. Notice how slow Hogans and every other good golfers finish is compared to yours. Else keep up the work many good things in the swing :)

I prefer all blades anyway as I seem to hit them just as well as cavity back, actually i think I hit my 3 iron mp-32 better than any cavity back 3 Ive hit before. I think that mp 52/53 does this.

Golf set for my 65 year old dad!
Colding replied to Colding's topic in Clubs, Grips, Shafts, Fitting
Hehe yeah I am aware that he might need teaching more than gear, but his swing actually seems ok to me, the problem is that he is not consistent enough, he sorts of forgets the ballstriking feel a little i would say. Anyways i do not have a price range i am willing to pay the money to get him the best suitable gear due to him turning 65. For me its more about giving him a cool gift rather than doing the most logical thing to improve his golf. He is going to retire soon and thus have a lot more time to play golf. Jamo its impressive that your dads shoots low to mid 80 with 5 golf times a year!:) I will try to look into some graphite mizuno mx 200 or some callaway diablo i think :) -
Hey everybody! My dad is turning 65 next month and I am considering getting him a new golf set. The question is what should i get him? He plays around 32 hcp. His swing and swing speed is actually ok, his main problem is that his strike is not consistent often causing him to top the ball or hit it very strange. Therefore i want to give him some easyplaying irons so he can enjoy golf. Since he stills works he does not have time to play more than 1 time a week. Now he got an old cobra set with graphite shafts. I am wondering if he should stick to graphite or he is better suited with some 'soft' iron shafts. Inputs would be appreciated.

5.8 wear medium or small. I think the problem is that the USA guys prefer to wear much larger shirts than us in Denmark for instance. You guys wear your polos below the ass were i want my polo to stop around where my dick starts :) Sorry for the language but do not know how else to put it :)

I guess this have been posted before but maybe someone has not seen it. Here are some much more important Golf Rules that Stine should know about! THE RULES OF GOLF: 1. Each player shall furnish his own equipment for play -- normally one club and two balls. 2. Play on a course must be approved by the owner of the hole. 3. Unlike outdoor golf, the object is to get the club in the hole and keep the balls out of the hole. 4. For most effective play, the club should have a firm shaft. Course owners are permitted to check shaft stiffness before play begins. 5. Course owners reserve the right to restrict the length of the club to avoid damage to the hole. 6. The object of the game is to take as many strokes as necessary until the course owner is satisfied that the play is complete. Failure to do so may result in being denied permission to play the course again. 7. It is considered bad form to begin playing the hole immediately upon arrival at the course. The experienced player will normally take time to admire the entire course, with special attention to well formed bunkers. 8. Players are cautioned not to mention other courses they have play on or are currently playing to the owner of the course being played. Upset course owners have been known to damage a player's equipment for this reason. 9. Players are encouraged to have proper rain gear along, just in case. 10. Players should assure themselves that their match has been properly scheduled, particularly when a new course is being played on for the first time. Previous players have been known to become irate if they discover someone else playing what they consider to be a private course. 11. Players should not assume a course is in shape for play at all times. Some players may be embarrassed if they find the course to be temporarily under repair. Players are advised to be extremely tactful in this situation. More advanced players will find alternate means of play when this is the case. 12. Players are advised to obtain the course owner's permission before attempting to play the back nine. 13. Slow play is encouraged; however, players should be prepared to proceed at a quicker pace, at least temporarily, at the course owner's request. 14. It is considered outstanding performance, time permitting, to play the same hole several times in one match. 15. The course owner will be the sole judge of who is the best player. ** Players are advised to think twice before considering membership at a given course. Additional assessments may be levied by the course owner and the rules are subject to change. For this reason, many players prefer to continue to play several different courses.**
