Hitting Driver and long irons..

Ok so i can hit my 6/7/8/9/pw very well

I also can hit my Rescue 200 dead str8 or even put a Fade or Hook on it if i want to but when comes to Driver and my 3/4/5 irons and 3 wood Irons i just hit like crap and slice and 3wood and driver im slicing 90% of the time what could be the cause of this ?

Well, there's a ton of issues there, but from personal experience, what I find when I get in trouble with my irons is that I tend to either not hit down on them sufficiently or I catch the ground a bit before the ball. I can get away with that kind of strike more with the shorter irons because the loft will get the ball in the air, but with longer irons, I don't have that help and the shot completely fails. How are your divots? Are you hitting in front of or behind the ball? My mechanics fell apart a bit late in my round yesterday because I was tired and I noticed I was losing distance because I wasn't catching the ball cleanly. Once I noted that, I adjusted and it came back. So if your divot is starting behind the ball, see if you can eliminate that and catch the ground in front of the ball.

A lot of people swing harder with the longer clubs because you naturally want them to go further.  Try hitting them with a nice easy 9 iron swing.  No tension and don't try to muscle them or kill it.

While it may be something as simple as your ball position, swinging harder, etc.. my experience is that since shorter clubs simply don't go as far as the long clubs and impart more backspin, errors just aren't as apparent (e.g. you're 30 feet from the pin vs. you lost the ball). We may think we're hitting the short irons well, but the relatively small errors can mask the same swing flaws that cause a driver to slice.

Yep.  The less lofted clubs are definitely harder to hit straight.  Good point.  I believe I heard a story of Tom Watson warming up with his 3 iron first on the practice range.  He could fall out of bed and hit a 9 iron.  He wanted to see what his swing was like on that day.
